main cola

I was wondering if it was possible to harvest the main cola(cutting it off) then continuing to flower, or just harvest whole plant? im doing the sea of green method with a homemade bubbleponics. thanks

you could do this, if you think your main cola is ready, you cud cut it and leave rest of plant under lites. any pics, of the main cola?.

Just a sharp cut to do the least amount of damage to the stem. 45 degrees is used for more area for roots to grow. A straight cut here will be fine.

actually, my job is landscaping and if your pruning any kind of tree or shrub your suppose to cut it off at a 45deg not sure why...i just do what the big guys say but cannabis could be different, but either way it gets choppped off HAHA

isnt that hard wood.?. pruning trees/roses ect, im was a gardener and thought it would be very easy to grow weed. but growing indoors under lites, is well harder, then letting nature take its course.

Harder, but faster and maybe safer. And the cut wont matter because this plant is dying. Thats is its desteny. All this for you. ARENT YOU ASHAMED?

Thats what my dad always said to me, so I would say yes.

i heard 45 degrees so that moisture or contaminants dont settle on the gaping wound, but i've never had a sick plant so contaminants must be a regional thing. I live in the dry desert and no mold or bacteria has ever shown up here

Maybe you could just cap the wound with some wax? Never tried it though, just a suggestion.

in soil its a good idea to cover it up with soil... but i dont think it would work to well with hydrotron LOL, so could work

straight cut with a razor would be best, a drop of honey or molasses on the cut helps the plant seal the cut, less stress, work your way down as they ripen.
