Lurking No More....I want to share my first outdoor season with everybody.

We are growing the clone in vermicrop organics- VermiFire soil. Here's the the link to that http://www.vermicrop.com/vermifire. Has anyone used this product with great results?

Here's an update.



Ladies and Gentlemen, the larger plant is now popping out hairs.

I went out late last night to check for bug infestation, and I found a caterpillar along with some reddish orange eggs chilling on a fan leaf. Do y'all think there are more caterpillars and eggs I should look out for?

If I found 1 catapiller I would assume there might be more. I've been spraying mine with BT once a week as a preventative.

Where there is one there is a thousand. I'd spray.

also, those are nice looking plants man! good job.

Wow! Your plants are looking great! By the end of the season you're going to have one hell of a bush.

Start spraying with BT asap. Then a week from now hit them with spinosad and then continue bt until flowering starts

So for my bug problem: I've made this garlic/pepper/horticultural oil spray.



I've been finding things in my plant like lady bug larvae, even a baby bird.




Everything seems to be enjoying this sun.



My 4 ft tomato plants got to heavy for the cage and fell over with the wind we've been having.



The cucumbers are growing nicely as well, but still no sign of fruiting.



The Cannabis plants are blowing up.



This is the one with the birds, caterpillar, and lady bugs. I really hope the garlic spray works well.

The parent plant from which I got the seeds were 10+ feet tall. It's a shame I don't know the strain name.

I just hope it doesn't get too tall, anything over 7 ft will problematic for me, because then people would be able to see them from the road. I could easily put something up so that doesn't happen.

How tall is she now? Its hard to judge in the pics.
And dammmn man.. your tomato plants are even huge. Mine are only about 2ft-2 1/2ft tall and I started mine in March!

She's at 3 1/2 to 4 ft tall the last time I measured, and just over 4ft diameter. lol I also planted my tomatoes in march, but I picked mine up from the local farmers market. Did you start yours from seed?

How do you train your plant so low to the ground dude? Teach me.

im with fresno on that....any links to a tutorial lol ?

Yup. Started from seed around the same time that I started my first batch of MJ. I've got around 20 or so tomato plants.. just hoping the damn stink bugs don't ruin half of my veggies like they did last year. Bastards.

I use black cable wire to LST. One side of the cable gets a hook to hold the plant in place and the other side gets placed in the ground. Ofter a few days the tops will perk up and grow in length, pulling the cable out of the ground. Once the cable is no longer holding the plant in place--I move the cable closer to the top and place it in the ground again. Making my plant exercise lol

Sweeeeet. Now I know how to grow short stock monsters. Do they anchor to the ground well? No slippage. If they dont anchor well I could just use a weight as an anchor. Thanks bro

Yeah, they stay right in after the ground is compacted from a few waterings. The plant has pulled out a few of the cables. I'll post pictures. No problem. I try to stick the cables in 4-5 inches.
