So as far as ive read it is better than the cree 3590 in output and in price, and needs less cooling therefore cheaper heat sinks? Or at least smaller heat sinks. Right?

What drivers can we run for X amount of them?

I guess that depends on how hard you wanna push them.
I dont think anyone has played with them yet to see what they can do.

They way I run cobs is different than most.
With my small area I like to use 1.5 cobs per ft^2 and then way under drive them

I thought the luminous cube was interesting! 170 degree even light spread. Would be amazing if that can find its way inside the plant canopy somehow.

Also ~17,295 lumens @ 112w is with 80cri 3k. They even have 95cri!

They were/are under the radar, cant wait to see if they are good in the real world

I was looking at them last week.
I see them on Digikey and Mouser UK.
Mouser uk price £29 for the 5000k and 6500k.
No 2700k - 4500k immediately available though.
I'm using cxb3590s at the moment.
I'm thinking of running them for side lighting on low amps.

i was looking into doing 32 of the cxm22 for my 4x8 flower build. looked into those as well but couldn't find a distributor for under 400 MOQ. cobkits has the cxm22 for a good price, may build my first table with that for now. looking to do 2-3 4x8 tables of COB within the next 6 months if the first table performs like they say.

I have some 3590s cxa3070s, cxb3070s, and a few of the previous gen of cxm 32s

Ill find out soon enough if I cant get the mew cxm32's, or how long the wait at least.

What are y driving them at? Have you played with how close you can get them to canopy at lower amperage?

Right now running only 36V type Cree cobs, and I run 12 of them with (2) HLG-240H-42Bs
At full power they get about 220 watts from each driver or 36.67 watts each.
I generally run them at 188 watts a driver, or 376w combined at the wall.
I run 3 different cobs so they all draw slightly different current, but approx 750-880ma I think.

My plan is to try out the Hlg-320H-C1400 on (4) CXM32s

I am going to order some samples and try them out, too bad I have no test equipment
good luck it took me 2-3 mos to get a CXM32 sample from luminus and that was after spending thousands of dollars with them, if you come up with a good source for samples try to get the clm22 and cxm18 as well

its a beast of a chip, its like a citi 3618 that runs at 50V

cxm22 (50V) and clm22 (36V) are the best match for 3590 right now and are cheap.. and i love the 22mm LES. the cxm32 is a good flagship chip but 32mm les's have less holder options. i keep writing ideal telling them they need to make a holder for the clu058/cxm32, maybe you guys could help pester them as well. there is no ledil reflector that fits these chips without soldering chips and modifying holders
