i have no experience with any Lumigrows, but i've done as much research as the internet/youtube can offer.

There's a great video that goes in-depth about the Lumigrow ES 330 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyjVzBNlEKQ

The Lumigrow Pro 325 is suppose to be double the PAR output as the ES 330. Also, the Lumigrow Pro 650 is four times the PAR output as the ES 330.

Other than the info on Lumigrow's website, there isnt much info else where.

ALSO - Growershouse.com - has a blog that offer reviews on a variety of grow products... including LED light tests to show consumers actual PAR output. They have announced that they will be doing a review on the Lumigrow Pro series very soon, so stay tuned for actual results. https://growershouse.com/blog

I want a new lumigrow pro series real bad. I just can't justify it to my lady right now. I havent seen anyone using one yet, but I feel like its a top quality light and I think it would be tough to find a light at simialr wattage that can keep up with it.

Light Output Measurements

@2ft. above the canopy (coverage 16 sq ft.).... the Pro 325 produces 1020
µmol/m2; ... Pro 650 produces 1990 the Pro 325 produces 1020 µmol/m2; ... Pro 650 produces 1990 µmol/m2
@2.5ft. above the canopy (coverage 25 sq ft)..... the Pro 325 produces 652 µmol/m2; ... Pro 650 produces 1274 µmol/m2

i seriously doubt people will be putting their lights more than 2.5 ft above the canopy, so i won't bother listing the rest. From what i've read - 18''-24'' is the ideal distance from the canopy for LEDs.

SO IF you put the lights, lets say.... 18'' above the canopy - the
µmol/m2 should be slightly higher... my guess: Pro 325 - 1500 µmol/m2... Pro 650 - 3000 µmol/m2

Hopefully Growershouse.com will post their blog with the light tests to confirm these numbers.

ok so growershouse finally came out with their Lumigrow Pro Series Review

https://growershouse.com/blog/lumigrow-pro-series-325-650-greenhouse-led-plant-grow-lights-review-and-par-test/

as you can see - Lumigrow's claims about 1900 µmol @ 2ft is a LIE :( - Growershouse PAR light test shows 652 µmol @ 2 ft.

this makes me a little sad that they made such 'outrageous' claim (652 µmol vs "1900 µmol" - thats a BIG difference)

regardless, i have the unit now and look forward to seeing if it will be able to match the production of a single 1000w HPS (since lumigrow claims their 650 model is equivalent to TWO 1000W HPSs)

on a side note - the light looks great, solid unit, well-built, doesnt get too hot - my tent stays between 82-84F (i have proper ventilation)

anyways - hope this helps anyone who's lookin abt more info regarding lumigrows

i got the 650 :) - will start posting journals very soon ;)
Is heat an issue at all with the 650? I am on the fence about whether to get a 325 or 650. Is money the only driving factor for most people? Because overall I feel like the 650 is definitely a better deal so I don't know why the 325 would be so popular. The only thing that would make sense is heat? I'm in a very confined grow tent (2.5' x 2.5' x 5') and its stuffed into a closet grow so there isn't too much air space outside of the tent (maybe a maximum of the same volume of space outside the tent as inside). I can circulate the air but I figure my experience with MH/HPS lighting has been that the entire grow closet was getting too hot (95f+) on a 400w MH/HPS with 400 cfm fan.

My goal is to use LEDS with a less than 250 cfm fan (because the grow area outside is limited there's no point in blowing the air around any faster than that) and I want to save on the noise.

My question is whether to get the Lumigrow Pro 325 or the Lumigrow Pro 650. Do you think I could keep cool temps with the 650 given my circumstances? Will the 650 give me a greater yield in a 2.5 ft x 2.5ft area anyway?

EDIT: This question inspired me to start my own thread here:

Thanks guys

LumiGrow has a guide that shows light intensity and coverage. In that guide, if you look at the µmol values, they are clearly listed as Adjusted PAR (x2). You may have missed the unit value.

ok so growershouse finally came out with their Lumigrow Pro Series Review

https://growershouse.com/blog/lumigrow-pro-series-325-650-greenhouse-led-plant-grow-lights-review-and-par-test/

as you can see - Lumigrow's claims about 1900 µmol @ 2ft is a LIE :( - Growershouse PAR light test shows 652 µmol @ 2 ft.
Please refer to the following chart from LumiGrow. Their published PPFD is in Adjusted PAR (x2) which normalizes the value against HID lamp spectrums. That is to say, the effective PAR value of the LumiGrow Enhanced Spectrum is twice as effective as the PAR value of an HID lamp.

Depending on the light meter, LumiGrow's published values are in line with the measurements from Growershouse.com.

I compared different LED grow lights and finally I purchased WEX-C150-W. I love it :-)

I just started my first grow. I purchased one Lumigrow pro 325 for $1000. I then purchased another for $850. I

I live in the desert. Outside temp is 99+. I felt like LED was the only option. They each have a 5 year manufacturers warranty, so I figured they were worth the price in light bulbs. I do not have a local gardening store. I have each one in a 4x4 grow tent. I am very pleased with my purchase, but I do not know any difference.

I'd love to see some pics of those lumigrow pro 325's in action. Post something up if you can!
