Lumens for cloning?

I want to start cloning using fluorescent lights which put out about 3000 lumens. I don't want to under do it. How many lumens do I need per square foot?

That should be fine get them rooted and transplanted ASAP I use my veg light its a 2FT 4 tube t5 only 8k lumens does fine for a good veg for 2-4 weeks or clone I have seen people run less lummens while veging and cloning

yeah, you don't need much in the way of light to root some clones..

i use like 2 23 watt cfl's or so in some small aquirium hood and it works great..
