i know topping during flower is often done , but not recomended by most successful growers so im just letting the op know that for future ref that topping a plant during flower is NOT the ferfect time (age) to top a plant. a plant needs time to produce its structure to support the future bud sites, thus the veg stage. but then you have a 7 foot tall plant grown with a couple of cfl's, so carry on my way-ward son....

I suppose we could just let his plant grow and burn to death because supposedly most successful growers would never top if their plant was touching the lightbulb even thought topping is often done.

Do plants yield more if you put more tops? or is it better to eliminate the bottom branches that don't get much light? has anyone ever tried removing the top bud to better distribute clorpyhl (probably slaughtered that) to the bottom branches. Another method i saw was harvesting the top bud's and letting the plant go longer for the bottom to fill. ahhhh i have so many questions e.e

What is a hash plant - IT IS A WEED. It will take most things you can fling at it.lol I agree there are certain things to improve your grow but it will adapt. FACT. lol

I believe if you top for 4 colas above the 2nd node that you would yield a lot more than an average growing a plant. search "uncle bens topping" very simple and sexy pictures and a lot of people showing off their attempts and successes and it's a beautiful thing.

HAhahahahahahahahahahahaha. wow good shit.Let me clarify things I topped the ladies two day s before flowering. They have been on a 12/12 cycle for six day's so far.They are 8 weeks and three day's old. unusually small! smell is potent, even at only the beginning stages of flowering. I used a use a piece of dental floss to do the job. seems to be best, not to cut into the stalk. all this info so fast, thanks!
