Hey all,,,,, I have two plants in flowering, six day's to be exact. They are eleven inches tall and are about to reach the lights. I know that I should have started L>S>T weeks ago but, here we are! No time like the present, right? The plants are bag seed of sour diesel and GDP. I have them under two 26 w cfl's and one 13 w cfl. intake/ exhaust as required. They are comin' along and I want to be able to harvest, just don't have the room for them to get any taller. The point of all this is: can i start L>S>T now? where on the stalk should i do so and what are the best materials to use? I'm unable to post pics srry

it's more about size and strength rather than age, if you can bend them without snapping shit, it's all good to go. if not you're really going to have to gradually work them.

Thanks for the reply's. They are about two months old and the stalk is firm. It's going to take me a while to get em' where I want. Hopefully I don't snap one of my ladies!

If you snap don't worry, it will fix itself. Its like us breaking a bone. Weed is a hardy, hardy plant. lol

I would do it now if you decide to do it. You don't want the plant to recover from the stress of the bending (Though it's really small) before harvesting.

I have topped it. Just after I did so it shot a caylx and pistils out, on the node it was topped and on the one just below it. Im in the process of bending it now.

Also since its in a small pot where should i attempt to tie it down? the inter node growth is small, nothing to grab except for the fan leaves. I don't want to damage bud sites.

Get some chicken wire(thats what its called in uk, like mesh wire fencing) and weave it in and out of that

how is topping a plant in flowering stage the perfect "age" to do so? i thought the vegetive stage was the perfect time to do the topping of a plant. can you post a link to your statement or are you talking out your ass and calling someone a potential bitch if they dont top in flower???

Everything I've ever seen tries to avoid stressing the plant when you put it into bud. Topping usually starts after the first 3 weeks of Veg. . .I assume you're assuming to a Supercropping method?

Well, when you flip the switch to 12/12 it takes about 10 days for the plant to change. It will still be in a veg state till then
