LST for Autoflower?

I'm about to start a grow of 3 different autoflowers. Short Rider, Purple Gem, and Easy Ryder (lowryder x auto ak47). My question is does anybody have experience with an LST for autos? Not so much for the short rider or purple gem bc they will be pretty short as is but i know the easy ryder can sometimes reach a pretty tall height. Topping would be out of the question since theres so short growth period. I've also heard that some autos don't respond well to LST. So if anybody could shed some knowledge on me or just has their own advice, anything helps.

your (lowryder x auto ak47) will not need it.They will go nuts.I worry sometimes about doing it when they are autos.I dont want to give them any reason to stress and not grow.That (lowryder x auto ak47) is gonna go nuts for ya.Have fun it is a hell of a plant.

Do it if it grows too crazy though.You may not have a choice.

I have heard good and bad things about the short rider but I put 10 in jiffy seed starting mix without germing method Friday and all have sprouted. I just hope they carry the AF phenotype...

Yeah i'm excited to see what all they'll do. If everything goes good i can't wait to see how the purple gems turns out for the color and the low x auto ak looks to be a beast i'm sure. Did you give your plant any kind of nute treatment Coach?

On the LST, i havent LSTed a lowryder female, but i have MEGA LSTed the males multiple times.. ive never noticed them slow down at all, they chugg right along and pump out tons of pollen! Think it should be fine..

The lowryders dont get very tall anyways.. max 16 inches id say.. dont have that much room?

This is my current DR male LSTed.. hes a lil over 3 weeks i think.. hes only had one light feeding, i dont give my males much.

Hey dude, look up someone called Two Joints on my thread in my sig, he LST his Easy Ryder. I am growing my 2 Easy Ryder and have just started my Last one. To be honest depending on your light go with just letting them grow normally. Personally the way they grow would be fantastic in a SCROG

Haha i know i didn't even order them they we're freebies with my order from speedy seeds...needless to say i was very excited when i opened the package. Yeah i have enough room i just like to keep them short and fat, plus LST can work wonders to even out the plant and fatten up your yield. DJlifeline thanks for the help! I'll be running 4 26w 6500k and 2 26w 2700k CFL's till its flowered for a week or so then change to straight 2700k's. Scrog was something else i was thinkin about and i agree it would work wonders with the easy ryder.

That should be good. 20/4 cycle is perfect for all autos.

thanks, i cant wait to get all those in, i am loving the short rider so far but we'll see a little later.

Not really sure why you posted that in a LST thread. You might start another thread or find one for HPS light cycle to get more looks tho

not completely on topic but i am growing a strain that you are and I just figured i could get some info, but i am sorry none the less. I have saw a lot of tall/bushy short rider phenotypes on the net and I will def be LSTing if any of mine have that tall/bushy pheno.

Yeah i've heard the same thing about them which kind of sucks. It'd be nice to know which one it was cause if its a tall one i might as well just gone with somethin that i knew would already be tall haha

And it must be nice there in Kentucky where you can get some good cheap bud. Big price hike here in the midwest which is what drove me to grow my own haha

Damn pounds for 900? Must be nice. You'd be luck to find an oz of some good (not great) for 400. And thats if you know somebody...times are tough i guess and they say we're in a depression. Apparently it effects everything haha. You sound like you're livin a rough life out there gettin to smoke all you want and all lol
