LP Minimum Gram Requirements?

So, it seems Tilray has implemented a 5g per strain minimum. Find this really frustrating, since I kinda wanted to try like, 1g of each strain... Ugh. Anyone else know if other LPs are doing this?

Have seen that on a few LP sites. It will screw some patients out of being able to fill their entire prescription.

I would imagine it is very costly for an LP to "package" 1g increments.
I do appreciate that 1g increments on an initial order would be a real benefit to patients.

Package the orders as clients order them, giving them the choice of any amount. The ones I saw weren't just 5g min, they were only available in multiples of 5g.

you should able to call the LP you want to go with a get samples (ie like 1 gram each of what they have to offer) if they don't allow it then don't fucking go with them. they will soon see that patients wont have any patients for assholes in this industry. the ones that don't bend over backwards for the patient they will lose those to the ones that will.

cause right now I wouldn't go with tweed as for all their recent bullshit, as for any LP not writing me back in an email within a timely matter they would also lose my business, don't accept my calls and /or call me back ... guess my money isn't good enough for ya either. Either the patients have to make these types of rules by moving LP's and let the assholes die or LET them control everything and all of us get a worse experience. I get a lot of us having to wait for our meds and such, as for me i'm in constant pain because the process is taking too long but I will soon find my LP that gives a crap about supplying my meds and if I have to go through them all to find one then I will. shouldn't have to but I will

It's a crock of shit that you can't order 1g. You should be able to, on your first order, sample the menu. One gram is a reasonable amount for me to determine whether or not it is going to be effective for my needs. I won't buy from an lp that will not allow me that courtesy.

I hope, all of you that are in limbo (mmpr) are taking names and making notes....on who NOT to buy from....
this whole thing seems to get a little more bizarre with each day that passes.
Its a good thing pharmacies don't dispense under the same guidelines ...based on min qty's rather than prescribed amounts

The way we see it, first order will be 1/2 price, with a 1gram min per strain, but a five strain minimum. So min 5g but of 5 strains, this way you get a sample of strains but not paying full price for something you may not enjoy. If you decide to come back it will be a 5 gram min order per strain. At 5$ per gram.

I think that's fair, how about you?

.....I forgot to mention a further discount if you make a full order of 150 grams,( yet to be determined, probably 10% discount.) maybe more??? So 5.3 oz's for $675.00, roughly $125 oz. As things progress we in vision even cheaper prices. We will also have in play an exchange policy if your not satisfied with the strain return it for a different one. The way we will ship, you will need to keep at least 5 grams but you can return the rest. Ie; if you order 20 grams of our " killer death weed" you must keep the 1st 5 grams packaged in a pill style container, but you can return the unopened 15 grams that will be shipped in its separate bulk container. So every strain will come with the first 5 grams in its own pill.type container and a larger, up to 50 gram bulk container to refill the smaller one.

I think it's fair to say orders over 5 grams get free shipping, orders less than that you pay for shipping.
Otherwise the minimum doesn't really make sense - if you believe in your product you should be willing to give sample quantities.

They should send all new patients a sampler with 1 g of each strain they carry then let the patient decide what works best before sinking all their money into stuff that may or may not work for them.

I imagine it wouldn't be that hard to pre-package something like that as a welcome package - charge a fair price per gram but have 1 gram of each product in smart packaging.

How would an exchange policy work? With HC monitoring quality and even ordering a recall on one batch, it's seems highly doubtful they will allow resale of medicine that has previously left the grow facility.

I'm fairly certain that any product returned to the facility has to be destroyed in the presence of the QA person.
I'm also fairly certain that you have to declare product returns and you're begging for extra scrutiny.
