Lowryder has only two phases right?
The seedling and the flowering.
I have done two successful grows with those dwarfs.

so far I feed them:

  1. vegetation nutrients for the first four weeks
  2. flowering nutrients for the following weeks

But if they are seedlings for the first four weeks, should I feed them seedling nutrients instead? Like the plant start nutrients?

I didn't feed anything the first 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I fed once with 1/2 strength veg nutes. By the time I was ready to feed again they were flowering so I started feeding with flowering nutes at 1/2 strength. If you've grown autos before I'm sure you know they don't need much. I grow in promix, which by itself is inert, and even in that I've only fed 4-5 times throughout the entire grow. I've never used coco but it seems very similar to peat.

Right on the money, and good call on the Pro-Mix; it blows rockwool out of the water. For my autos I waited until the cotyledons to start to shrivel before you start feeding it (they provide carbohydrate energy to the plant while a seedling- so when they go the plants are getting hungry). I fed mine GH Flora series and learned to keep the ppms below 500. I fed it the veg formula until I saw buds, then finished out with the flower formula. Good luck with the grow.

Same here.I was feeding the Diesel Ryders 1/4 of the nutrients for the 1st 2 weeks then 1/2 and when I switched to flowering I used 1/2 of the bloom nutrients.
On my new grow with the Purple Jems I do a 30% Pro-Mix Soil 70% Coco. I started on 1/2 the nutrients during vegetation and now on the 6th week I feed the the full adviced portion + a bloom additive.
I have not seen any yellow leaves or anything, so I am assuming the babies like their food :)
At the local hydro store they said that since I gorw something that has a mere 4 week flowering period, I should DEFO go for a bloom additive and DEFO make sure they eat well...
This made me think that the poor thing has only 4 weeks of vegetation too. So I should see what is 100% perfect for them.
