yes, hashlover, i do have the meters. i just checked, ph is 6.5 and ppm is 736. I don't dare give the sickly looking plants too much nutes. i've been using general hydroponics maxigro 10-5-14. one of the plants changed a little, leaves are pointing up more now. i don't hold out much hope for them surviving. I'm gonna start some of the new seeds soon. just hope the next ones turn out better.

Hey guys i was just wondering if there was a big difference in growth between a 1 gal and 2 gal pot. I used 2 gals for my lowryderxak and started to setup a different setup under a different t5 flur but i wasnt sure how far the roots grow out. If i use 2 gal pots for my new ones then i can fit 5 but if i used 1 gal pots i could fit 6 or 7. Also you are supposed to feed with foxfarm every other day right?

So i just ordered Short Rider from nirvana im gonna put em outdoor organic fox farm ill be taking pictures and if its okay with you posting them on here and will have a grow journal of my own it will take me longer for seeds but im DOWN AS FUCK for a trade pal so let me know im aching for those lowrider seeds since it is now discontinued and i would like to see the difference between lr indoor and sr outdoor....yeild and dankness

Your ph is to high and IMO so is your ppm. I like to start them out at about 300-400 ppm and see how they do. Since you have meters you can check every day.

No man, You feed every other watering!!! And if you need to water every other day you should have bigger pots. Along with making sure you let them dry out enough in between waterings.

Alright good stuff thanks hash. Also how much air do you need to have blowing per plant or whatever and is it normal for the akxlowryder strain's leaves to curve upwards a little (just a couple leaves on 1-2 plants)

Just enough to move the leaves and stems a little. But not to much blowing on them. Moving some air around the bottom is also good. Don't know about the curl. But when you ask a question like that pics would always help.

Would a $40 PH Meter be a good investment if im just growing for a hobbie 5-10 plants? I never thought to use one but lately ive been wondering and i saw one for $40 bucks at the grow shop. Also for lowryder's is the ocean fox farm soil the best i noticed by friend had it and it was real loose, he has his in grow bags and when u water them it just falls right out. I wasnt sure if the Ocean or Happy Frog was better?

A ph meter would be a great investment, you can get one cheaper on Ebay though. And I would go with the Ocean Forest soil. Great stuff and add nothing to it.

I got my pH meter for 2o bucks and its still kicking. Also, I got a PPM meter for the same price and if it wasnt for both of them i wouldnt have had a sucessfull grow. I got them thru eSeasonsgear.com or something like that. They have hella lot of good stuff.

Notice it says waterproof!!! It even floats they say but have not tried out that feature yet. Thats a real nice meter hash...im going to need a new one soon, mines been fcking up on me lately...It would be nice to have it all in one...I take it, you like it and would reccomend it?

I would definitely recommend it roll. I like that it also has the temp on it. You can get a better price on Ebay for it. I just didn't want to wait.

I believe that will be my next purchase.. 125 on ebay...So convienent to have all that info in one meter....but i got wait cause i just bought all kinds of stuff... I got the advanced nutrients sensi gro and bloom and this new stuff they just came out with called Bud Candy...we will see what happens..

Is it a bad idea to mix nutrients...like say i started vegging with fox farms grow big...then maybe switch to the advanced nutrients to flower??

what do you guys think about a lumes meter, and how does it work?
