Lowryder 2 T5 Grow

Well, the girls will be five weeks old tomorrow, so I figure I'm probably about half way to the end. They seem to be coming along nicely. I grabbed another 23 watt CFL while I was out this weekend. Also, I went ahead and changed out my last two 6500K T5 bulbs with the 2700K bulbs. So now my lighting consists of 3 x 23-watt 2700K CFLs and 4 x 2700K T5's. Anyways, enjoy the pics...

Hey man, thanks for stopping by. I really have no idea what kind of yield to expect. Based on the size of my plants though, probably not a whole lot. I like your sig, by the way.

Here's a quick picture update. Things are going smoothly, and the girls are looking good. They turned 5 (weeks) yesterday. I measured yesterday and Betty Lou is 10" and Alice is 8", then today I had to move my light up again!

Well, I had to raise my lights again today. After what seemed like down period, the girls just seem to be growing like crazy now. I have had to raise the lights for at least the past three days. Anyways, enjoy the pics...

super work guy. Green as can be and tight. How far are you using the T5. Curious. anthing closer then 9 inches and mine stunt. Usually 12 inches and I can tell they relax and sway in the wind more. imo.....

I cant get anyone to answer....these are autos right? If so what happens if they go in the 12/12 hps 400 vs. staying in the T5. Good, bad etc?

Hey Relaxed, thanks for stopping by. As for my lights, I keep them about 2"-3" from the top of the plants. My T5's don't put off a whole lot of heat, so the plants can grow right up to the bulb. That's what mine have been doing the past few days.

Yes, these are autos. I don't know first hand what happens if you put them on 12/12, but from what I've read it apparently decreases yield. They say that 18/6 is best for this strain, and that's what mine are on. As for your question regarding HPS, I really can't give you an answer on that as I have no experience with it. Maybe some of the more experienced growers here can chime in on that one.

Hey all. Here's some more pictures. The girls are really growing. They will be six weeks tomorrow and Alice is 11" and Betty Lou is 14.5"! I'm really surprised how much taller Betty is. She was originally the runt, until she hit this growth spurt. Alice is fatter and frostier though, so I guess it's a good trade off. Supposedly they have three more weeks. I hope they fatten up some more, so I will let them let me know when they are ready. What say you guys...

The girls are six (weeks) today! Betty is now up to just a shade over 15" and Alice is just over 11". Any one want to venture a guess as to when they'll be ready for pickin?

Thanks man! I can't believe how tall Betty is getting. I keep having to raise my light up for her. I'm starting to wonder if she'll ever quit growing! It's crazy cause she was the runt of the litter for most of the grow. Looking forward to seeing pics of your ladies tonight. For now, here's a recent pic of mine...

Fuck yea dude! beautiful plants man. I did have two plants going but the other one had severe light burn and had to pull the plug. But you live and you learn.
Anyway man lovely plants and I'll photo update tonight. I looked at my baby this morning and i accidently drooled a little lol. anyway man peace and pot.

Well the girls turned 8 weeks today so I figured I would do a quick update with pics. They're looking pretty good and I am thinking they might get the chop this weekend. The main colas look pretty close to being ready, but the side branches look like they need some more time. Not quite sure what I'm gonna do about that. Anyways, here are the pics...

Oh, and I finally got around to installing my carbon filter. I'm amazed at how well this thing works...

Thanks man! I actually snipped a little piece off to sample a couple days back and it got me pretty high. Can't wait to try it after a proper dry and a little curing. Looking forward to seeing your next grow, man. Good luck.

Well I was going to harvest this weekend, but I think I'll let 'em go another week or so. They trichs looked about half clear and half cloudy with no amber. I tried to get some pics for you guys, but they didn't come out very clear...

Dude those are awesome pics. I cant believe you got your camera to focus on such a close up. I've got the Nikon cool pics P500
(36X optical zoom) and I love the camera just cant get that close and get that clear of pics.

And yes your trichs still look a little clear. I would wait IMO. Keep up the good work.
