lower leaves dying

Hey my four week old Aurora indica is losing fan leaves and some older leaves on my shoots. They first turn light green then yellow and then brown and dying. Some of the leaves fell off just from me bending them slightly. I'm using subcool super soil Ph is between 6-7 depending on where u put the meter. Temps are between 72-82 mostly in 70's tho. Humidity is around 45-55 I don't use any nutes except this four part microbe and humic acid combo. They have no Nutes in them this is an all organic grow. The only thing not organic is I foiler fed her a half strength dose of humbolt verde
It has 16% nitrogen I thought it might be a nitrogen deficiency its like they are being slowly sucked dry but I really have no idea. I gave it the
Verde two days ago I haven't seen it yet today its not at my house . I can't have all my leaves falling off. This is my first grow I've been reading and reading for months about growing so I know some basic things but I also burnt the hell out of my other plant with blood meal trying to lower the Ph. It didn't grow for two weeks except for growing fried curled up leaves rt on top of each other. Luckily its growing now pretty well actually but I dontwantto burn this one two its growing so nicely. I even felt like the day after I fed it the nitro it looked like the new growth was kinda off color so I'm scared to give it more nitro. It really worries me that its moving to the leaves on my shoots. Plus I need the fan leaves to feed the plant rt? I'm in 5 gallon cloth pots I just battled fungus gnats I took care of em within five days of seeing the first few gnats. I use 3 42 Watt 200 Watt equivalent on top they are like 2800 linens each and I have a bunch of 100 Watt equivalent bulbs on the sides with a few 2700k bulbs mixed in for a broader light spectrum. I know I'm not over wattering I was at first but I've learned to be patient and that sometimes less is more. Here's some pics of both plants just so u can see what the nute burn did to my other plant which ironically was growing twice as fast as my tall one now before it got burned. I thought my big one was gonna be a runt I was so always but around week 1-1/2 when I put it in 5 gallon from 2 gallon it exploded. Sorry I'm rambling now. Help please i love this girl and I can't lose it! Any additional info u need let me know. Not enough light. Not enough lumens. Lower the lights as close as possible.
Put some reflector up or paint the walls.
You may want to clean out the inside of plant a little...kinda thick in there.

Those supermarket CFLs are good for clones and seeds.

A plant that size needs way more lumens though. 15k at least.

Losing some leaf during the life of the plant is normal.

But you still need more light.

I know cfl's aren't the best but I've got 9000 lumens 6500k and 1600 lumens 2700k on top about 2-3" away and I've got over 8000 lumens on the side mostly 6500k with 2 2700k mixed in. I have a 600 watt hps that I was saving for flower which I'm gonna do as soon as I get this problem under control. As far as thinning it out those are all. Shoots coming out they are coming out like crazy from every node that's where I'm gonna get my buds rt? I've been tucking fan leaves under and around so it looks even crazier. My walls are glossed white and they are rt next to them. Idk I appreciate the advice I just fed it with all my myco and humic acid and added about half the full strength of Verde which is high in N. 16%. I probably just burned the fuck out of it we'll see Tom. Ima get the hps ready here soon. Thanks. Here goes a pic of my lighting IMG_20130506_194331.jpg

Really long question for a yellow leaf. I could barely keep awake reading it (lol). Is the problem only on the lower fans, or is it in the middle also? Personally I would trim a branch or two off the very bottom of the plant to get some air in there. Also soil test meters, like the ones you stick in the dirt, are not very accurate at all. You should be testing the feed water, which I hope you are doing. I am waiting for your reply, just keep it brief.

No I don't test the water I don't know how cudnt find anything that will give Ph of water. I use ro from the store not sure but I thought it was neutral I do add humic acid which I guess cud lower the Ph seeing that its an acid. . The second and third node is where my fan leafs start those ones are pretty much dead I haven't taken them off yet tho. And the bottom two shoots have leaves turning on me. I got a little fan rt next to it on low its getting air

Do the leaves stay soft and fall off or do they dry and turn brown. No burning, just a plain old yellow leaf? It seems on that one leaf in your hand it starts brown in the back of the leaf and moves toward the tip? Is that right.? Not from the tip back, or from the sides?

They start turning light green I think from the sides in, then yellow then brown and shriveled. Sorry its hard to tell where they are Browning from. I think ur right about it starting at the back. They stay soft til they are yellow then get rough and go brown. A couple water or sun leaves fell off from just bending them down a little. The fan leaves haven't fallen off the stems are still strong they are just brown and shriveled. I'm freaking out its working its way up I got a lot of money tied up in this super soil. I made it correctly I'm kinda pissed I'm having problems

I dont see that many lumens you quoted. A 42w gives off 2700 for like 6 months then declines rapidly. The other pics looks like mud to me. What is your so called super soil mad of. I just buy FF ocean and forest blends and mix them and never loose fan leaves. But again how many cfls and what wattage and how old are they. You really should have a box as well or tent with reflective walls.

Thing is I've had lights on the side for atleast 2weeks shining rt on the lower part. U Shud see the lowest shoot its about as long as the plant is tall. U heard something a while back about not using ro water cuz of problems with trace minerals but guy at hydro store said ro was great to use. I know my Ph is off my meter sucks it'll say 7.0 one spot then three inches over it sais 4.9. Wtf. I put a LITTLE bone meal on my other one to try and bring the Ph up. I don't know what's wrong its Def not over watering I stopped doing that a while ago LOL. I'm not gonna be able to sleep till I figure this out plus I used that Humboldt Verde with 16% nitro and it has some iron zinc and magazine in it but I'm worried it's gonna burn it well see Tom or next day if it burned.

Foliar feeding isnt the best for MJ. Sure RO is great but you need to add things to it to make its PPm correct. Ph can fluctuate in dif spots. You really need to get a soil test kit. What is your super soil soilmade of. You could do something wrong and find out 2 weeks later. And why so much humic acid. That could be your prob as well. IME fast draining pre mixed premium potting soil is the way to go and then fertlize organicly. But again your prob obviously lies in the soil. Do the leaves start yellow from the inside or outside in. They are probably getting burnt from the foliar. if it gets worse take a clone and start over in another medium and see how it does. But with out knowing what exactly your ph of the water or soil and whats in your soil there may not be much help out here

Ive got 9 lights and like 16000 lumens. That red pot was a Venus fly trap. That pic was just to show my lights. I use subcool super soil. Bumper crop organic base soil, small bag of potting soil with perlite, worm castings. Bat guano bone meal blood meal rock phosphate. dolomite lime humic acid Epson salts and it called for azomite for trace elements that's the only thing I cudnt find. Thelights are brand new 3 42 Watt and 6 23 Watt on the sides. The walls are gloss white and the plants are rt next to the walls.

The humic acid is to feed the organisms in the soil and to aid in nute uptake it also has a ton of other benefits that I don't feel like texting rt now(I use my phone). I only foiler fed it that one time with the Humboldt Verde the other day. That was cuz I only had a little water left. The plant is growing well and the new growth is nice. Its just that its starting to yellow and brown slowly upward on a few of the branches.

What was your base soil. Or did you combine each ingredient itself. The base soil should have had all the blood meal bat guano and allthat stuff in it already. Like Foxfarms happy frog. I used that alone and achive great results. Theres gottah bea lockout due to ph. Just by a hydro test kit and water with neutral water. But you may have messed up. But why did you follow his ingredients. Seems like everyone is on his nuts nowadays when you can buy a bag of pre made organic soil 2cu ft and be done. but thsts all i got its either burning your plants or the ph is locking it out completley. Best of luck

Gotta be Ph the soil does have all that in it but its in small quantities. The point of the supersoil is that u let it sit for a month and it breaks down then Ur not suppose to have to use any nutes the whole grow. And I haven't till 2 days ago when I foiler fed it and today when i watered it. Thanks Ima just give it plain water for now on.
