Low PPM reading W/ Fox Farm

Ok I mixed according to the feeding schedule to fox farm for the 1st week of flowering.
My PPM meter is reading 562 PPM.

1 Gal Distilled water
2 tlbs tiger bloom
1 tbls big bloom

HM Digital TDS4 meter calibrated w/ Milwaukee 1382.

Any reason for this? this is at 100% feeding schedule and my PPM is showing about half of what it should be according to the feeding chart.

Is it the organics in the nutes throwing off my PPM meter?

What is the conversion factor of your TDS meter? It has to be either .5 or .7. As you can imagine, the .5 conversion factor will give you a lower reading that the .7 conversion factor.

regardless, that ppm reading is way too low bro, you need to pump up the ppm's to 800-1000 week 1-3, 1000-1400 week 4-6 900-1200 week 6-9

sometimes u can do more, watch your plants, look for signs of stress or nute burn (burned tips, leaves curling down) during flowering you most likely will see stress, most of it is not to worry about if you are doing things right

It reads in PPM. I calibrated it in Milwaukee 1382 PPM calibration that came with it
For some reason it has to be reading way off, there is no way 2 tablespoons of tiger bloom and 1 tablespoon of big bloom in distilled water is only 557 ppm
Thats the reading I got today before I fed my plants.

Check out my grow towards the very end. Here is a snipit of my grow entry for today. This is for 5 gallons of bathtub water plus pH down plus ferts

PPM & pH of straight bathwater: 221 & 8.6 (or so)
PPM & pH of bathwater & nutes: 525 & 8.0
PPM & pH of water with pH down: 572 & 5.5

NUTES: 5 tsp Grow Big 6-4-4 & 2.5 Tbl Big Bloom

I know this post is a year old but I am having a similar problem. Only difference is I use Microbe Brew and Open Sesame as well, and my PPM is only slightly higher.
