Hey everyone post your ideas or current low bud-jet grow cabinet. By Bud-Jet I mean a cheap and fast grow that will net you at least a 1/4 pound. Include seed price, materials cost and grow time. Remember I am a n00b so break it down for us.

i made a 4 ft tall 3 ft wide 3 ft deep box. a tub from walmart. nutes from the local hydro store. nute choice is your choice i wont tell u what to get they are all similar. some fishtank airline tubing+ air pump. 6-10 cfl's i use the 23watts= 100 watts ones. 2x cpu fans (intake and outtake). 2x 6plug power strips. light timer. flat white paint for the box. if u use a clear tub u need to paint it black so no light gets to the roots. 5x 5 gallon buckets can fit in the box.

this is a bubbler system which means the bucket has water nutes airstone and roots. no reservoirs no water pumps.

i didnt buy the wood for box or most of the other stuff i had most of it already. i would price this system at no more than 250 usd ($$$$$)
box-40-60$ (wood/screws/caulking to make it air tight so fans can do their work)
lights 60-80$
light fixtures 10-30$
paint 10$ black n white
air line+pump 20$ or less ( u will need T fittings to split ur air to the seperate buckets ) ( i use the pump with a possibility of 2 lines comin out of the pump itself)
seeds 0$ (since u are a noob id advise tryin some bag seeds from a buddy with good trees)
cpu fans 5$ each (lil more lil less dependening on wher u get them)

ok heres the end where i say i make my own cO2 with sugar/hot water/yeast in a gallon jug i will give directions if u want to use this. get a gallon jug clean it up real nice, cut a whole in the cap big enough for an airline to get into, it needs to be a tight fit. fill the jug with 1/4 lb sugar, add just enough warm water to completely dissolve the sugar, add the yeast give a lil shake, pop on the cap and put the jug in ur box or let the intake fan pull it into the box for even distribution.

hope i helped a lil, if not i dont really care =P

HPS if you can find one this cheap...($120) 16 twenty lb. bags of cheap organic soil from Home Depot or Lowes ($32-$40 grow in the bag) A lb. of Miracle Grow for Tomatoes ($5) and a lb. of Peter's Bloom Fertilizer ($5). Then pray that your water is acceptable and not too high in calcium or pH. Seeds from Nirvana ($30). Clones the females till you have 16 of them... then veg... then flower (taking clones right before you put them into flower) put the new clones under a 4' 2 bulb flourescent fixture ($16) in some Miracle Grow Seed Starting Soil Mix ($8 - 2 bags) in Styrofoam 16 oz. cups ($1) with clear plastic cups as 'domes' ($1).

Total Cost: $225 DOLLARS. (plus shipping on the light)
Cost per crop there-after: about $50 DOLLARS. (plus electricity)
