So leave em be I guess. i dont really want to do a flush Think I will just keep feeding half strength nutes for another week to 10 days.Heard you dont need to flush with organics. Was thinking just phd water the last week or so.

i recently switched from mir gro potting mix to pro mix bx due to minor nute burn during flowering(using jack classic blossom booster). I switched to expensive canna organic nutes cause my buddy has great results using canna but i have had nothing but problems since!plants literally turned white-yellow during 2nd - 4th wk flowering

Then i switched to a mix consisting of 1/3 promix,1/3 rich topsoilfrom my veg garden an 1/3mir gro organic potting soil. I amended mix with dol. lime( 1 tbls per gallon of soil) I switched to alaska brand ferts during flowering(1 tsp of 5-1-1 fish fert + 2 tsp's 0-10-10 morbloom per gal of water) an they are still turning yellow round the 3rd week of flower!

Btw i'm growing under a 400 watt hps in a 2 ft by 5ft closet with plenty of ventilation, i'm about to quit growin indoors cause it shouldnt be this hard! I know that if I go outside and dig a hole in the ground and water it with plain water i will get better results than i'm having inside

That sucks man maybe take some pics and ask. Lots of folks on here are pretty knowledgeable. Though, beware alot arent.I tend to get several opinions then make my choice.Look for ones that have a few good grows under their belt! Good luck man.By the way I also use pro mix.But I add lots of fresh worm castings in it.Always worked for me.Dozer

thanx dozer soon as i get a better cam i will post pics. I'm new to this forum stuff but it is a wonderful resource for less experienced growers like myself! thanx in advance for you guys help. I've just fed my plants with a slightly higher dose of alaska 5-1-1 yest. i'm hoping this helps a lil bit. next step is sending away for MORE nutes, ph meter, ph up an down, ph meter calibration fluid etc etc...... sigh more $$$$,(btw i live on a caribbean island so anything advanced has to be ordered from overseas) oh yeah, how do i subscribe to this thread lol(told you i was new to this forum stuff)

thanx to attitude I just got some of dna'a new martian kush, cataract kush, sensi seeds jack flash an nl5 x haze but im scared to pop em cause of my current grow problems (current grow = vanilla kush, blue cheese, lemon skunk, rks an mataro blue)

was thinkin bout investing in general hydro's general organic bio thrive line cause I read that you dont have to ph them which would make life simpler

Thats what I use and like well enough.Wont know for sure for another month.I always used fox farms outdoors but like the idea of organics a little better. Not really sure on the workings of this site. I am relativley new to it myself.Must be tough living on a caribbean island. I am in Maine going to be 0 tomorrow with wind chill! Good luck with your grow post some pics lots of cool people on here willing to help. Dozer

thanx bro, lol I actually went to high school in fryeburg maine for a yr so I know about the temps there. but yeah i think ima try the gen organics on the next grow

Fryeburg huh? I just finished a job there last friday. Small world eh?If your going organic read up on feeding teas. They work great and makes feeding pretty forgiving

Yeah I've been doin my research for a while now, I'm considering ordering some high p guano from amazon. most other ingredients available here on island

Ever since I started growin indoors I've been reading up on different techniques I just never tried any preferring the simplicity of mir gro soil but having stepped up to the 400 watt hps I've started noticing nute problems, i'm guessing because the light is more powerful there is more photosynthesis goin on lol. I just gotta step my game up!

Not so sure its the light as it may be your soil doesnt it have nutes in it already? I havent heard very good things about it. Maybe for tomatoes though.

Have you flushed the plants mate,if not flush them and allow the medium to dry out, then continue with normal nutes

I raised the light a bit an gave em a foliar feeding of some half strength miracle grow an they look much better today so i'm guessing it was just a lack of nitrogen. Ima go back to pro mix bx amended with some dol. lime, compost an guano or manure feeding with general organics bio thrive line. Question Dozer, do you ph your GO as i read you dont have to ph em which is what i like about em

Nice as my water is a steady 6.8 -6.6 whenever I check it with a borrowed ph meter. From what i understand gen organics dont have to be ph'ed cause they rely on the microbes in the soil to help plants pick up nutes.
