Losing a harvest

Not sure what to do about this one. I had a beautiful girl that I chopped and I noticed a little mold, so I chopped off the infected area and I hung dried for about 7 days. It was a very humid week and the buds were still moist so I put them in a brown bag for 12 hours and then out of the bag for 12 then back in the bag for another 12. At that point they felt nice enough to smoke but seemed perfect for the jar. I put them in for 12 and burped for a couple hours. I was literally all over these things battling humidity. Well, at this point I have about an ounce and a half of dark, dank buds with a few tiny white spots and some buds have the little white hairs too. Should I water cure this batch? I read thats good to do with slightly moldy buds and mine are definitely not that moldy at all..at least I got another lady thats almost finished and she looks absolutely amazing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A water bath can't hurt that's for sure. If your growing in an area where humidity is an issue hanging the whole plant can cause more issues. Trim your bud right after harvest and place on screens. This eliminates all that additional green. Hanging the whole plant comes from outdoor grows where fresh air is abundant. Indoors...well not so much fresh air. You get the picture. Good Luck

Yea its been the worst week for humidity. Well I'm looking at my buds now and I got it all rough chopped up on a plate, I'm gonna run through with some tweezers and pull off some spots and give it some more time before I do that water bath. The mold is very slight, I'd hate to do it when its not necessary. I have little stashes all over experimenting, I got some bud just in a jar with a Boveda pack. I got some wrapped up a brown bag and I got these that I'm gonna clean up and let air dry a little more. I can't believe there is still moisture, I cut this last saturday and it's been out most of that time.

I personally did the water bath ( my understanding is that your talking about the hydrogen peroxide / water combo like Cervantes did ) with my last harvest and had no issues.. I washed my entire harvest due to a small PM issue. hung them on the strings and used 1 isolating fan pointed at them and 2 more fans moving air under them for the first 4 - 6 hours until they had returned to that just harvested feeling. then i took the direct fan out of the mix and lowered the speeds on the 2 on the ground and have had no further mold issues or sign since being in jars for over a week now! :).. btw i did say i had a pm issue and that it was minor i had stopped the spread with a hydrogenperoxide water spray and only bathed for personal reassurance.. also normally my room is between 40 - 48 %RH 75-85F.. only reason i posted was to let u know that some else on here has tried the bath and it didnt hurt anything :)
