The part of this article that stands out to me is the cost of oil dropping by 50% per barrel but the cost at the pump only dropping by 10%. People in this country are ripped off left right and center and are either to passive or to dumb to care.
I hope he calls the election as soon as possible but im less optimistic about the future regardless who gets voted in next.

the oil people were invited to talk about their pricing by the Conservative Gov't a few years ago but that's all i heard about that story...no idea if they even answered them.
all i know is it's ridiculous!! Here in Vancouver, the prices changes throughout the day...??!! i don't get it at all. they can't tell me that the prices of the gas that is dropped off once every few days changes in value at all. it's already purchased by the oil company so how is this possible?

The prices only increase daily here based on the cost per barrel.
When theres a massive overnight drop off it takes a few days to trickle down.
But it gets no where near the same percentage change.
Mind you that the same as our taxes if you owe the gov they charge you compounded interest daily but if they owe you somehow thats a different rate.
Ahhhhhh now i have a migraine headache thanks for starting another thread about how shitty our country is ran. Now i have an excuse to go medicate!
