looks bad...but harvest not far off

We have a plant that has severely damaged fan leaves that are only at the top of the plant (didn't start at the bottom and work up)...but is working its way up to the bud leaves from the upper fan leaves. My boyfriend (ataxia) posted a question about what type of deficiency it could be....and if it'll effect the buds in the end. The most common answer was calcium, I believe. Well, here are some updated pics. It's gotten worse. Look familiar to anyone?

My main concern is if this deficiency effects thc levels, since we're so close to the end....

and also the taste...

those do not look almost done to me ,those look like preflowers almost
they've been flowering for 8 wks. Started flowering early under CFLs with 5 other plants in the tent, 2 of which vegged longer and grew to be 5 ft tall, resulting in limited light on the shorter plants (this being one of them). Here's a close up of the pistils. It's fim'd, so although the view from the top looks like popcorn, from the side the top is a dense little cluster of nugs.

Anyways...............
any information on my original question would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

yes, the mg toxicity looks like it's exactly what it is. this would explain a lot. maybe it wasn't just the taller plants that stunted its growth. thanks a lot for the link.

that plant is about 1/2 way through flowering, the finish line is a ways off still.
if it is a mn toxicity, what can be done?

if it is calcium/magnesium related, i've heard to get something called calmag.

whatever it is....it could be a mixture of things wrong with it....since it's not close to harvest afterall, there must be time to have a go at fixing the problem. What can be done about it??

yeah, a good flush should be your top priority, im sorry i didnt answer any of the actual questions you asked and just told you its not as close as you think, i meant to finish that post but got distracted and forgot. It looks alot more like nute burn than nute def. but if it is a def. of some micronutrient you should find a flower nutrient solution that has it. whats the name of the nutes and your soil? i'd ask a whole bunch of questions about whats in it and all that but it will be less work to just have you tell me what kind and then me finding it online real quick. lol.

i just wanted to answer a few questions for her since we're posting almost the same exact thing in two posts.. we are using::
FF Happy Frog
FF Big Boom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom (only using Big and Tiger with molasses at the moment.
soil Ph level reads at 7.5 but it's hard to tell due to my shitty plastic analog tester.
I flushed 4 days ago with a Ph of 6.5 haven't seen any changes, also the problem is arising on other plants, although not progressing the same way.
things we f'd up::
Using tap water with a Ph of 8 or over.. (sometimes without letting the water sit to lose some of the chlorine
Using Ph down. (at one point in our grow i tested the runoff and it read 4
not keeping a personal journal of our grow
Fcked up lighting schedule due to a piece of shit timer i bought.
so this all probably arose from a Ph balance I'm guessing, Also, i notice the problem seems more noticeable when a plant is concentrated under a 65 wt cfl instead of the clusters of 40 watters and 26s.
This plant was vegged to about 10 inches in a 8 inch pot (and did not recieve enough light during it's growth) TMI YET??? well....
I also noticed when checking the moisture or ph that it's packed with roots at the bottom (possible rootbound????) and it holds moisture more than any plant in the ten t(rootrot??). The reason it looks so immature is probably because of its tiny stature and growth issues. but i can safely say this plant has been flowering 6-7 weeks.
this sucks because for as small as that bud in the pic is ...it was the one i was looking forward to smoking most. Anyways sorry for my long interrupted post but we have been asking so many questions and looking into so many books trying to figure out how to fix it....++ from both of us who can help with any answers to what the fuck this is. OUR FIRST GROW BTW.:fire::wall::cuss::sleep::dunce:

im guessing it might just be *overwatering* due to drainage problems(put the ** since its technically a drainage problem, lol). along w/ph issues which probally inhibited the plants ability to uptake some of the stuff it needs . if the plant has a bunch of roots at the bottom of the container it means it needs to be transplanted if possible to avoid rootbound, if its not already rootbound that is. the plants should look better in the next week sometime if flushing has solved the problem. what are your temperatures at? how did you flush your plant?(I'm not implying you did it wrong in any way but its better safe than sorry and alot of 1rst timers dont really understand how it all works.)
no offense meant to any one in any way, we were all noobs at one point and ya gotta start somewhere. lol. so the soil ph didnt change any after the flush?

No offense taken at all man.. I flushed with 4 times the amount of water... tap water:dunce: is that ok??? I fixed the ph to 7.0 and used molasses during the flush.. the temp in the room runs at about 80-85 degress .. i could use a real exhaust system to keep better air circulation and temps.. the Ph of the soil did drop to about a 7.5 so i was pretty happy with that. BUT. ANTOHER problem arose last night.... I bought a shitty timer around christmas time from home depot the reason i bought the timer is because it was one of the only ones HD in stock. DAMN CHRISTMAS LIGHT USERS. so i said fuck this timer I'll do it myself. I was right on schedule until we had to leave for work for a few nights. ENTER THE SHITTY TIMER. I'm sure i don't have to explain much of what happend after that. DOES ANYONE LIKE BANANAS????? Because I'm getting riddled with them. :cuss::wall: this sucks.. We're in the home stretch and the plant were talking about is def a HERMIE:cuss:. and my biggest plant is growing bananas.:cuss: WTF do we do?? there is no where else to set up shop in the house. I feel like i just waisted four months of growing. any advice would be helpful... we picked the bananas, but they are coming back...Thanx again Dark. You always seem to come through.8)
