looking to get to get a HPS?

So, just got this 3x3x7 ft tent. and im gunna use it for flowering in about a week so i need a HPS light im looking at getting a 400w but would like a 600w but i have a$150 budget and i looked on craigslist..seen a couple on ebay but wanted to see what u guys hadda say? what do i stay away from?

Yes, join the 600watter club, i never regretted getting my 600w great results, it's worth funding the extra 200watts for the extra performance

the 600 watter doesnt come with an air cooled reflector which i will need in my tent? and i wudnt have anymore money to spend until after rent next month but im flowering this month. what do u guys think??

wud i need to cool tht 600w with a cool tube in the smaller 3x3 tent i have? cause i dont ahve the extra for tht tht was the real question my bad

Get a 400w light. Your tent is 3x3 so yo don't need anything more. More light is not always better. The 400w will give you enough footprint, cost less, create less cooling issues, allow you to keep the light closer to your plants, and use less electricity. The only reason I would recommend the 600w is if you were growing plants over 4ft. tall.

thanks for all the imput..im going with the 400w in the cooltube..i feel i can get just as much outta tht light because of what phiilip said i can keep it closer in the tube. now if i cud get a 600w in a cool tube for under $150 i wud def do tht. BUDGETING SUCKS I NEEDA GET A NICE YIELD!! by the way im only flowering 4 hoes under tht light ne ways for nowww gunna take 10 clones for the next grow then just order some seed in the mean time
