looking to cross a couple strains any advice would be helpful and +rep to those

heres the deal I have some white widow seeds that are not fem
and I have a awsome yielding local strain that is super stable and
just a win all strain, its just not the super stony that WW is so
the plan is to get a 4x4 tent and pop som WW and hope we get
a male to cross with the local strain. so all I know about this is
to put a male with a female and let them do there thing, is this
all that has to be done? and if so how long do I leave the male
in there? and once the femal is pollenated do I just go full term
and flower her out? once done how many seeds you think il get
and will they be useful seeds?

Usually leave the the female pollenated for 6 weeks for seeds to develop.You pollinate at week 3-4 and leave until 4-6 weeks seeds should get the full term for good viable seeds

I like to give the females a 2 week head start in flower on the males,gives them time to develop more calyxs before the male pollinates.
Then just finish as usual,the seeds will start poking out and you can visually tell when they're matured.
How many you get will depend on how big the girls are,the more turgid white hairs they have the more seeds they'll produce.

sweet one more thing I have to opions for location one is where theres other stuff going on.
and the other is and will be a little dificult to get to use but posable, but there nothing else
that could get fuck up by pollen. this 4x4 tent is it going to be enough of a sealed area to
contain the pollen? there will be a 4x25 flourecent t5 set up for lighting and proper venting.
if this is safe setup in a area where there others then il use that spot but if not il go to plan B

Once you've pollinated the female, you can use a hair dryer to blow off excess pollen. This will lesson the chances of accidentally pollinateing other plants.

usually when pollinating and you want none to escape turn off all fans and do what yo have to do with the plants then after you can spray with water to stop any excess pollen from getting on other girls (like 30 min-1 hour later)

WBW good advice as always bro..As for what strain thats up to what you like but since you said you would like to do something with your WW then i would have gone with a fruity strain since the WW is already fuely and powerful a lemon strain would be good to drop it with i wanted to do that as one of mine..But ive since gone with the cross of Sannies seeds Killing Kush and Da Purps in hopes of one day stablizing the strain for some bomb ass Killa Purple Kush...Good luck to you in what ever you chose...Peace
