looking for tips and advice on a 400w indoor grow

What's the proper temperature should an indoor grow maintain, how high should the light be above the plants, how long should the light stay on during veg, what's a proper ventilation system in a 3 by 5 closet grow, and how often should the plants be watered?? Please Help

Temp: 50-85 (what id call absolute min/max)
Light Height(properly cooled): 6-18"
Vegg Light Duration: 18-24 hrs on
Fan Size: 200-400 cfm (a real fan tho, not some piece of shit homedepot inline fan)
Plant watering schedule: for a total dumbass noob, when ur leaves droop down and the plant looks like its gonna die, Water it.....

Since you dont have ducting/fan for your HPS, Ide suggest keeping it 24"-36" above your plants. Get a box fan for your closet, have it turned sucking the hot air from your closet out. a little ghetto and isnt a great idea during flower, but ityll work. the temp should be high 70's to mid 80's with the lights on, and no lower than 55with the lights off.
I run a 20on-4off for seedlings switch to 18on-6off when they grow multiple nodes. and water once a day to once every two days, you should be drenching the whole plant each watering.
