Looking for some suggestions

Tim, local hardware store didn’t have any liquid sulfphur. I bought a bag of the epsoma organic soul acidified which is simply elemental sulfur pellets. I mixed up some with some 2 day old bubbles tap, roughly 5 tbsp in around 2.5 gallons of water. The PH of the mix is still at 7.3, it doesn’t seem to want to come down.

Any ideas if the mix is too weak or that it will come down over time
Its gonna take time.
The powder takes longer to activate.
Just be cool.
It'll start to work.
Give it a week.
Just keep a normal watering schedule.
Its a waiting game.

I think if it's epsoma acidifier for outdoors it is meant to release slowly, so it's still not what you want. But maybe that's another epsoma product. I'm trying blueberry out too but you're much further along then I am. I don't know if mine is a DJ though, guess not. My notes say Blueberry doesn't want much nutes, but does like ca/mg, but I would take the ca/mg comment with a grain of salt, no pun intended. I'd guess you have enough Ca/Mg. I noticed my bb though small it is a little skunky and the best smelling in the room. The bugs seem to prefer it too as I see a few nibbles only out of the bb but haven't seen the culprits. I thought too much h20 too perhaps.
Yea it’s definitely slow acting as a soil ammendment which is why I figured I could make a liquid batch of it and maybe that would speed up the process but as someone going from a chemical fert with soil regiment the idea of trying to bring down ph of my medium is a bit scary as I was always battling to try and keep it high enough. Today was a scheduled watering I gave each plant a tbsp top dress of the epsoma along with a cup of the epsoma mixture I made. The runoff on the blueberry in question was 7, definitely too high I believe that is where the issue lies

Raggy the only plant with spider mites of the four is a blueberry so that checks out with your observations. I figured it was because this plant wasn’t as healthy so an easier target but mine smell really nice as well. Still putting out some decent frost for this stage of the game too regardless of being under the weather.

Good luck with yours

Imho ebsom salt is half your problem.
Magnesium will keep your ph around 7ish.
Calcium will make it sweeter.
I really do believe cutting the ebsom will see a change.
Good luck man.
Raggy, you have a damn good bug eye :o

Yea I’m done with epsoms. I just did a top dress of neem, kelp and EWC last week so these things will be getting nothing but water for awhile. Hopefully the sulphur will do its thing and let these finish strong.

Lesson learned, no need to lime a soil that will only see organic inputs. I’ll be using more ph neutral substrates for rock dust needs in the next mix for sure. Looks like basalt, gypsum and oyster shell meal are popular among the organic crew

What’s Up Guys,

The sicker of the two blueberries has a couple ugly lower fan leaves. The top fan leaves aren’t losing color but continue to be a bit droopy/clawed.

Here is a picture of said fan leaves

Do those messed up fan leaves help anyone out with a diagnosis? I’m leaning towards poor drainage in soil potentially since I haven’t been water more Jan once every 3-4 days for the past two weeks.
Looks like low P but if it's just a few lower fans I wouldn't do anything about that at this point. P is a mobile nutrient and the buds can steal what they need from those old fans that aren't doing much other than supplying needed nutes to the places that need them. Extra P is needed early in flowering but after the stretch K is more important for good bud development along with S for resin production.

Thanks for dropping by oldmed!

I topped dressed each plant last week with a couple tbsp of high p seabird guano 0-11-0. I’m thinking of reapplying another top dress next week as I know this stage of bloom is when P is on high demand. I’ve been told that the guanos are pretty soluble and broken down rather quickly.

Also for a K boost any recommendations for a top dressing other thank kelp ? These plants have been getting regular kelp nutrient tea and top dressing, planning on hitting them with another top dress of EWC and kelp in a week or so.

If you see a reason for not adding anymore guano give me a shout. I appreciate the follow up!

Have you got much K in there? You're already starting the 4th week so should be slowing down on the P so I wouldn't go with any more of that. As @Tim1987 said the guano is pretty strong stuff. Lots of K should be present all thru flowering at levels equal or greater than P. Like the Big Bud I use to boost buds is 0-15-40 with 10% S and a bunch of aminos etc.

I'm not much into organics but they need the same nutrients no matter how they are fed.

Been working off root rot for 2 weeks now and its finally gone but I have no progress since... This was the worst root rot I've ever seen... I kept trying to H2O2 the roots in increasing amounts but it was only knocking it back... Finally I filled a pot with 50/50 water and hydrogen peroxide and soaked each one for 45 mins while I sterilized the system. That got rid of it but they haven't done a thing since... Literally frozen in time here... I don't want to trash them since I only have one seed left... They smell like straight kush and they were only 2 weeks into veg when they got sick... It's been 4 days since I got rid of the rot... I have since added my chiller to the mix and am keeping them at a steady 65.7°.. I'm really confused as to how to remedy this... Somebody please help... Paying the electric for no reason is pissing me off...

Its your humidty:)

Plus the fact you had root rot 4 days ago .

Also sometimes high nutrient feeds can help give rot so i feed light and slowly bump em up.

Get your humidty at least 55 to 60 if you can .

Dont give them hot nutrients untill you got new roots grwth and the plant is perky again.

The damaged areas are damaged so dont look at them just monitor your new growth.

And give it at leadt a week before you change anything

Just my 2 :)

I know, I've had rot before but never like this... Was so so soooo close to dropping antibiotics in the res... Thinking it may be bacterial.
