Looking for light leaks during 12/12

Hi, I just wondering whether I can go into my flowering room while lights are on and put a small torch on the plants while I turn out the HID light and check for light leaks around the door and window? I'd then put the timer back on etc. so the plants don't miss their schedule. I guess it depends how much light so I could use a small lamp.

Many thanks.

You want to turn off the light and put in another light to check for light?..
Best idea will be to get inside the room when its dark and see if anything gets in.
Or if your worried about light leaks during on time... then just use the HID?

Dooley, I'm not sure what you mean. I am using the HID for the 12 hours on time but I'd like to get into the room near lights off and turn off most of the lights. I should then be able to see if there are any significant light leaks.
Final Phase, that's what I suspected but it's good to hear it from a rollitup member :)

By the way, I'm growing 4 x G13's Sour AK, all from the same mother. Hopefully it's a good one!

I check for light leaks while the lights on to see if any light from inside can escape because if it does it usually can get in as well

18/6 for veg and 12/12 all the way for flower with no light leaks = no bannanas no seeds just frosty stony sinsemilla herb :) ✌

If your stressing Green lights are used mostly during the flower cycle so you can work in your growroom without effecting the dark cycle because like LighTer said: "Chlorophyll does not absorb that wavelength" so essentially to the plant it's still dark even though you can see.

Yeah it works fine I have done it many times and never had any trouble always good if you need something from your grow Area when it's lights out time
good for adjusting lights fans pots etc

if plants outdoor don't flower from moonlight then this is nothing as the moon is much brighter and has different spectrums in its light

Often I have wondered about moonlight it seems bright to me to.
I just read to day from jorge C that the moon doesn't get 1candle
per square foot on earth just thought I would throw that in.
