sounds like a good set up..unfortunately not a good bean selection..you are going to run a 1000 watter which has good capabilities but your running autos that first off are ruderalis so they are weaker potency off the bat but also they never have a good size potential so what im saying is i can take a 400 watt light and come out with just as much pot as you do with your 1000 watt light on a small auto, opposed to photoperiod strains where i cant grow past about 2 feet with the 400 due to light penetration and you can grow a 3-4 foot plant with the 1000 watter, now you are taking advantage of the increase in light..be careful if your new to this spending that much on a large set up, things may not pan out your first run so dont count on making that investment back right away if you decide to go that big...i would either run some bagseed first if this is your first time with no mentor or i would learn off of the autos not expecting much and have a pack of photoperiod beans waiting for a dialed in "real" first run

I went with these because in the description it said beginner seeds and thought this should work for first time the setup well I have plans to grow more autos but with more research I have heard good thing about nirvana northern lights strain but other than that there isn't much out there when it comes to auto strains and information about them and if there is please inform a newbie

white dwarf
&
lemon Kush

I thought they where some of the better ones was I wrong ?

I agree with kermit -
The equipment sounds good. I don't know the reflector or ballast, but the lamp & ventilation equipment is top quality. You are kinda jumping into the deep end, so hold on & good luck!

You already bought the seeds, so grow them & learn and hope for some good buds!
Autos seeds do appear to be a mismatch for your equipment. Autos are helpful outdoors when you can't control the light. In general, they have a lower potency than reg/fem seeds.
With your equipment, you could flower anytime you want! You don't need autos!

Since you got them, you should grow them. You will learn somethings your first grow that you can apply to your next grow.

I will inform you on everything you need to know about autos. They suck, they're small, they're a waste of time. Why do you want to stick with autos?! all you have to do is shut lights off for photoperiod plants, especially if you're buying a grow tent... shit put the light on a timer and all you have to do is water the sons of bitches and make sure it doesnt get too hot in there!

reason I also went with autos is I don't have the room and the setup I had little input from the guy that runes TGA but what other seed could I grow Feminized Seeds what ? and the seeds I order them from Attitude Seed bank no other choice it dry around here

me and the other half want to learn and have good experience doing it

so any help with seeds, strain or even changes to the setup nothing order yet just the seed but we can always order more :weed:

ohhh man lol......ok dude like he said your jumping into the deep end...if you tell me you dont have room and your thinking to stick with smaller autos then you have no business buying a 1000 watt light and all this top shelf equipment..if you want to just learn, first i still dont suggest autos as was said above the only extra thing you have to do with a regular bean is set a timer when its time to go to 12/12 and for doing that you get many benefits. but ofcourse you have them already so run them then stick to regular beans or fems if you want to take out some guess work but be careful what companies you buy fems from..now if you want to stay small due to space then just pick up a 400-600 watt hps depending on exactly how much room you have..if its a 3x3 closet you just dont need anything more than a 400. here is an example of my only feminized bean run, a 400 watt hps and flouros for veg and 5 plants lst'ed in a single rubbermaid..with this you can guage what can be accomplished with a smaller set up to decide if you want to go bigger or not! https://www.rollitup.org/smoke-reports/523547-paradise-whiteberry-grow-smoke-report.html

Don't get discouraged. There is a lot to learn & we all made mistakes along the way.
If buying auto seeds is your worse mistake you are doing pretty well!

Sounds like you have not bought your equipment yet.
You should review the 'grow room design' forum for some input.

I am not sold on an 'LCD' ballast w/remote control. I would recommend a Lumatek.
Sound like your tent choice is 4'9" high by 4'9" wide by 6'7" tall. 1000W/334 cfm sounds OK. I would confirm the size of your fan, maybe consider the next size up w/controller.

With a tent this size, you can grow any plant you want. You will have to do some training (LST, topping, etc.) for some plants.
I would still grow the autos. You paid the money, you are going to use them eventually. First grows are usually a little rough anyways.
Next batch of seeds, I would recommend fem/reg strains. Northern Light would be a good choice. Google for other 'first grow seeds' choices.

You wil need some nutrients. I use Fox Farms (easy, but $$$); I am looking at Dyna-Gro for future grows.

so even using super soil I still need to use nutrients can I ask what nutrients you recommend

Lumatek ballast have any models you recommend

fem/reg strains have any you had good luck with

super soil is soil in which you do not have to add nutrients...my bad with my last answer i didnt realize you had a room size in their...ya you can definitely fit normal sized plants in that room and go with either a 600 or 1000 if you want to just go for it..so run the autos first with the flouros for veg and then when they start budding you can just leave your lighting 18/6 and fill any extra room left with a new pack of reg beans..thats what i would do

Someone responded saying i should go with 8" but if i do the math 6" works best but are fans over rated??

Also from what i read 20/4 for lighting for autos but did i miss something because your suggesting i go with 18/6

Just few more questions any information is welcome

I was told
nutrients aren't needed but molasses would be something to look into

Last question
If i go with out the autos do i need another light and grow tent or just by changing the light cycle i should be ok with what I'm going to order

Sorry the grammar and spelling aren't the best

yes you can use molasses if you like with the super soil and also you maaay have to do a little top dressing in flower depending if the soil makes it but thats just a maybe so i guess i shouldnt guarantee you dont need nutes..i doubt it with the auto run though for sure. you will not need a different tent if you only do one run at a time. or what you can do if you want a more perpetual grow is just veg somewhere else in another room or just outside the grow tent because a vegging plant doesnt have as specific of requirements you can just get a rack and throw vegging plants on it outside your tent and start seedlings on the top shelf so when your autos are done you have seedlings started to move to veg, vegging plants ready to go to flower, and then you open your seedling/clone shelf for a while until you need more. so you dont really need another tent not cost effective. 18-6 20-4 same same, the great light cycle debate, my thinking is that extra two hours of light isnt going to do much for the plant but i bet an extra two hours of sleep will...18/6 was created to give a dark period and then someone came along and decided 20/4 to squeeze as much day in as they could but i feel it defeats the purpose....honestly ive gone 24/0 multiple times before but i think 18/6 is best
