Looking for DWC nutrient suggestion

I had the same problem in a 5 gallon DWC bucket. No amount of aeration is going to get rid of it and I personally feel FF nutes for DWC is horrific. Just wait until your rootball get large and there is brown junk all over it. I think it's bad for the roots and another big problem is that junk obfuscating your roots if you think you're starting to have a problem. (early signs of pythium for example)

I would recommend something that runs clear, my choice was DynaGro (both gro and bloom) and it performed like a champ. Dyna gro with Cal Mag has me sold and I'm still a noob.

Just wanted to update this thread with what I finally decided upon. I ran two 5 gallon buckets hooked up to a 70/Lpm air pump. I ran two air lines two each bucket with a medium sized air-stone on the end of each line.

For nutrients I went with the Botanicare KIND series. Specifically Base, Grow, Bloom, Hydroguard and Liquid Karma. I'd dump/refill the buckets on Sunday and top off with straight water on Wednesday or Thursday.

Overall I'm happy with the results. The amount of work seems to be less than with soil. I do more work on a single day with the dump/refill but the amount of work over a week favors hydro. I also like that I can leave for a few days without worrying about the plants. That was a problem I often ran into with my soil grow.

My two plants went into the flower tent at different times and I already harvested the first one but here's a pic of the 2nd plant. I'm in the final week for nutes and then I'll flush with straight water next week.

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again; the plants want the same damned nutrients, so why pick the most expensive water bottle you can find, rather than using dry nutrient salts- the very same ones that the water bottle sellers use to make their 'secret' sauce! THAT'S the 'secret'!

Jacks, Hydrogardens.com, Tokengrow.com and many more offer THE SAME DAMN THING for shockingly less money than water jugs at the noob sucker store.

But, most of you won't listen and you'll spend too much anyway.

Get their 5-11-26 with micros, calcium nitrate, epsom salts and MKP- monopotassium phosphate.

That's exactly everything you'll need to create any mix from veg to bloom. If you like you can add stuff like soluble humic and fulvic acids, etc etc. This way you'll know what's in your nutes and what isn't. You'll also save a shocking amount of money.
