What is your experience in the hydroponic medical growing arena? Can I ask why you are choosing and ebb and flow system over a DWC or soil set up?

Ya know when you feed in hydro there is no squedual you mix your veg nutes by ppm, they recieve nutrients everytime your pump pumps water? the only squedual is how many times per day you are going to set your timer for. Have you researched what ebb and flow is? Mabey try a wick in a wadeing pool first to get your feet wet. Then start worring about advance nutes and ebbs and flows ..
Getting an idea of what the thing is,,,, is your first bit of reserch. good luck with your journey and look into a wick system, this allows you to kind of pick up on what you are doing, without spending tons of money on pumps and shit. It's still hydro. Put your first money into hydro nutes and testing gadgetry, ect ,so you can moniter your system. If you like the results with hydro and the methods. Then up grade alittle you can ebb and flow in anything you dont even need a pump if you want to flood and drain by hand. look into Greg greens grow bible. lots of ideas for shoe string as well as expensive ideas.

Hey KP! I started off with the Fox Farm's trio, and that was based on advice from my "growing mentor." I only used those three for my first go. Second time around I developed the confidence and know how to try out other well-know additives and supplements, like General Hydro's Florolicious Plus, Liquid Kool Bloom, and CaliMagic. I also bought other "boosts" like CaliMagic, like a Potash or Phosphorus boost additive. The second crop is making the first look like dog shit... and the first crop was a success! Now, I honestly chalk that up to grower know-how and not to extra additives. I've seen threads on here that demonstrate proper use of a basic 3 part nutrient regimen is more than sufficient for a fantastic crop. Don't believe that it's more about what you put in your reservoir than your skill as a grower and plant-reader.

PS I saw a thread that showed Dyna nutes performed just as well as a much more expensive and popular brand... but I'm not taking the time to link you there!

I don't agree with advice, and I may be extremely less experienced that this guy. Don't spend a TON of money on pumps??? Wal-mart, kid. Ebb and flow for less than $50. Try buying the shittiest PPM pen for even less than twice that!

Come on, dude. He doesn't mean schedule in terms of time, rather in terms of type of nutrients and probably when to add. Maybe he should have said recipe or regimen instead of schedule. Give people the benefit of the doubt though.

EDIT: HE DID SAY RECIPE!!!
