Looking for advice: Growing clones outside success tips

Hey Yo,

I been growing since 1977 and have always started from seed. I germinate a few dozen and at about 3 feet high I select the 6 best females. I have used plastic 15 gallon containers with various soils and I have also had great big plants by growing directly in the ground.

But when I tried to buy live plants and grow them outside they flowered immediately and die with 1 measly little bud on top. What I was hoping for is to find a place where I can buy live female strains that are about a foot high and will continue to grow throughout the natural growth calendar. I will never grow indoors as long as I can get sunlight for free. I feel that indoor growing goes against the spirit and the culture of the plant

Does anyone have any tips on getting live planted clones to grow outdoors?

Thanks,
GGB

Oh yes. Soon as your clone roots feed it direct sunlight. Mist it every half hour with a very dilute solution of liquid kelp and fish emulsion in a spray bottle. It creates a protective barrier from the sun. Mix Just enough to give a slight brackish color to the water. In a day or two she won't need the mist and can rock on her own. Clones are awesome outdoors my friend. Never mist plants indoors under hps or mh. Outdoors they will love you for it.

Clones only have lateral roots , no tap , but all plants started indoor will need to be hardened off, indirect light for the first few days , and slowly introduce full light.
