Looking for ACDC or Charlottes Web

My wife and I are medical marijuana card holders and members of the MMCM here in Maine. Our doctor recommended Charlottes Web or ACDC strains for pain and muscle spasms. We have researched some Canadian seed banks that carry these strains, but not sure how legit they are. Any input would be welcome.. not looking to move to Colorado right now.

I've only ever ordered from Attitude and only with the guarantee bc customs loves to take seeds. I've also been considering ordering from Natures Green Remedies, which I believe are domestic, so much higher chance you'll get your order and I've heard they are trust worthy. Both sites carry SinCity, along with a variety of others.

ACDC is from Sin City seeds and they also have other similar strains, Thunderstruck looks like a good option....And CW, well let's not get into pot politics for now, lol.

Using cannabis as medicine is not so much, "my doctor has heard of these strains on CNN and MSNBC so I need to use them". It's about finding what works best for you and in what form. Often higher levels of THC are more beneficial and for many using pills or edible forms is a much better and more effective option that smoking, all depending on the needs.

Both strains your asking about are primarily for very low THC and moderate CBD level. Everyone is different but I've never had luck with using CBD for straight up pain relief. For pain(back and neck muscle) the only thing that's ever worked for me is high THC cannabis concentrates. I have found however that cbd concentrates are great at relieving my muscle tension and putting me in a relaxed mood.

Also, you might wanna look at other offerings, Good Medicine from Bohdi Seeds is amazing and I've heard good things about CBD Crew and others.

Thanks so much for your reply and thoughts... I've been doing lots of research too... I was just curious about the ACDC and CW as I've been hearing about it a lot lately.

Im looking for a cbd strain that helps dermal issues like psoriasis. Also one that helps degenerative bone disease. These will be made into creams and oils as they are for close fam that are scared to medicate. Any recommendations?

@bleak303 good luck. I doubt one of the CBD rich varieties alone will do much. CBD is not a magical cure all. THough that would be AWESOME! I have a bunch and can readily hand them out with a little notice. Also making seeds RICH in CBD beginning of the R14 bx and hybrids coming soon...

Peace
I definitely hear you. I think to ease the pain and side effects of the medicine they are already on, will be a good start. i am hoping to come up with a better salve for them and maybe capsules, then any cream has done for them. The creams they give for psoriasis have a mild steroids in em. They never work. The natural remedies i have seen are salicylic acid derived from aloe. So i plan to utilize a bit of aloe that i grow in my salve as well.

Peace

Howdy guys and gals. I had AC/DC for the first time and I love it! High thc weed can cause me some problems but I still would use it, until now that is. Smoking a J of AC/DC relaxes me and clears my anxiety while still having a very clear head. Sometimes I'll mix a little ''normal'' weed in there for a little thc high. I have been looking for seeds of it and found that Karma Klones sells them.

Oops thought you were in Colorado.

Yeah i smoked an acdc joint waiting in line at the cup, its not my favorite as far as taste, but the high was glorious for early morning fatty! I like that i can fixate my smoking niche, but not starting my day with hogh anxiety. My tollerance has gone down the last few years even though i dont smoke any more or any less than i ever hve.

For a Cannabis cream, try Apothecanna's Pain Creme

It works great on sore muscles, sprains, itchy skin.

ACDC originally came from a pack of seeds produced by Resin Seeds out of Barcelona.. The parents were G13 x MK Ultra and a doctor named William Courtney germinated them in Northern California.

www.cannabisinternational.org/info/newsettler-fall11w.pdf

The pack of seeds produced pheno's that were all over the board as far as the THC/CBD ratios are concerned. One of the pheno's had a THC content of almost 30%.

It's very unlikely that seeds from other breeders will produce anything like ACDC unless they spend a very long time stabilizing the genetics. Clones are available in the North Bay area of California and can be found at Mercy Wellness of Cotati. If somebody has a friend in the area perhaps they could mail a clone.
