I am interested into making the move to California and I was wondering if any forum members or someone they knew had a nice rental property I could hook up with. I will be interested in pursuing my MMJ license upon becoming a resident so I thought it would be supreme to find a MMJ friendly landlord possibly on a forum. A little out of this world, I know, but anything is worth a shot. That is what makes us human, we aspire for the things we desire.

I'm in the Valley. My landlord dont give a shit. None of them did besides the apartment people.

First landlord that I grew with was like, 'Oh! You growa tree?! Velly nice!'

My current landlord makes it a point to not be nosey. Always calls first if she needs to drop something off.

8) It's California, holmes. It's all love out here! You're better off asking for forgiveness after than for permission before. ;)

Do some checking first. Many counties are passing ord. against growing in residential zones, only farm land.
Good luck

haha great info man, I'm looking forward to it.

My first house will most likely be the back of a van I purchase upon arrival! It will all be worth it once I'm settled in, the community and the way you guys handle the industry in Cali just seems so, respectable, especially from an east coast perspective,

Here in Cali, since the feds have cracked down & closed many dispensery's, there are 'Weed Farmers Markets' showing up. It's just what you think!:blsmoke:

It's true. All of our dispensaries in my town have been shut down. My dispensary owner was arrested :( And he was such a sweet old guy, too. It really bummed me out.

That isn't right! We have pharmaceutical companies killing people everyday! We have people driving drunk every single day putting the children at risk. The world is so ass backwards it makes me want to throw up. We don't hurt anyone, hell, if I'm madder than a bat out of hell and I smoke a bowl I am DONE fighting it literally just doesn't operate in my brain as an emotion, it's impossible! Stuff like this gets me so hot n bothered, we aren't harming anyone, we treat each other with more respect than any drunk at any bar. It's not fair, I thought this country was created for freedom but yet it seems we are not free. We have the sense of freedom so everything is all fine and dandy but the fact of the matter is free range cattle still dies at the end of the day.

You wanna know something funny? I drove through Nevada recently and was told that weed is not acceptable in that state....really? Really, Nevada? Gambling is rampant and prostitution is legal, but they're going to draw the line of morality at my marijuana huh?

that is pretty fucked up... you'd think nevada would be pretty open minded, but i think all the shit they support is big money makers owned for years by the mob, the mob get's shit done, lol.. i don't think they're too involved on the legalization front though.

I live in central cali. I have a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom with a cool backyard for 790 a month. Prices are cheap.
Got a homie growing indoor out of a 2bedroom 1 bath for 475 a month... Prices are cheap.

Now that is what I'm talking about right there. I live in NH and I pay $1000 a month for a shitty 3 bedroom apartment.
Now I feel even better about moving out there. I'll have a house versus an apartment for cheaper.

Um...Nevada passed Ballot Question 9 in 2000, making medical marijuana "legal" for up to one ounce usable and 7 plants, 3 mature and 4 immature...If we got any vegas residents, speak up, but I was under the impression they were ok with MMJ. That, and I've gotten pulled over while smoking a bowl in Nevada...they gave me a registration ticket and let me go on my way.

Well, it all depends on where you live. If you're near LA or Ventura, you'd be lucky to find a 3 bedroom for 1000 bucks. It just sucks, because most of the places that have cheap rent are also limited on jobs. Unless you already have money, I cannot stress enough the importance of having work lined up before you take the plunge and come out to cali.
