I'm moving to Santa Cruz soon, and of course would like to have a garden there. I live in California currently and have been a medical patient for some time, and always stay within the limits. I don't really want to have to deal with a shady grow room in a rental and end up getting kicked out because the landlord isn't down with it, so I need ideas for a separate, dedicated space to have a medical garden. I'd like to look into industrial spaces but I'm having trouble finding one that is private or small enough for my needs (most of the spaces <400sq ft. are shared space, so no good).
If there's any med patients in Santa Cruz reading this and have a room that is unused, I'd be down to pay rent to use the space for a garden, or join you as a collective and we can co-manage. Or if you have any other ideas where I could find a private, secure space to grow in the 150-350sq ft range, I'd love to hear them.
