TL;DR
I'm looking for a business partner involved in, or at least close to (possibly even just a consumer), the medical marijuana industry. I am not looking for an investor, or someone to foot my bill.
Preface
I'm a web developer with 10 years experience delivering scalable, usable web based business solutions. I shut down my web development business after a successful eight years when my father got sick. I'm currently working a full time job making a very fair amount of money, but I miss being my own boss and quite frankly I'm sick of seeing all the other people just like me making a killing in Silicon Valley [1].
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a business partner centralized in the medical marijuana industry. The industry is in it's infant stages and going nowhere but up. Just like any other industry there are problems to be solved. Unfortunately being on the other (read: conservative) coast, I'm as far from the problem as I can be. I know there are problems to be solved, I just need to find them. Which is the reason I want someone with first hand knowledge of the industry. Together we can identify and subsequently solve these problems.
There are plenty [2] of companies [3] already making their mark on the industry, but believe me, there are plenty more!
Lastly
If you already have an idea you think is worth building, I am more than willing to sign an non disclosure agreement before we speak so you can be confident your ideas are safe.
