How convenient of you taking a conservative stance on this.I agree there should be a free market solution.
Same as healthcare, when Obamacare lit itself on fire, it should be handled by the free market or at worst, the state. Let the state decide what to do with healthcare, wouldn't you agree?
I just want to know, having heard what they're known to do, why he likes Teslas.

I also like Toyotas too. Should I never buy a Toyota because a tiny percentage of the many millions had brake problems? Should I not fly because a couple of planes crash every year? Should I not drive because there are millions of accidents a year? Should I not eat food because I could potentially choke? Going through life scared of everything is no way to live. That being said, I like Teslas because they are good for the environment, they are made in America, and they are fucking bad ass looking.

Ok. Well you might actually be on a different level than the rest of 'your' kind here. In which case, yes, I agree with you, without government intervention, either at the state or federal levels, Tesla would possibly continue producing vehicles without fixing the problem. But I highly doubt it. Have you read up on the founder of Tesla? He is not your typical corporate money hog. He is actually concerned for the general public, explorations and innovation, as opposed to the bottom line. So I think he is probably looking to correct this with or without government intervention.

In short, I agree with you, there should be some form of government intervention when it comes to public health.
No, I didn't know anything about them. Just that they blow up. And I've heard liberals discussing that they're great and I never got around to asking someone to explain it to me.

Hey if you really like the car, I think you should get the car. It happens to be the only model car in the world (other than Ace Rothstein's car in Casino) that sets itself on fire. Comparing one bad model car to an entire line of cars (Toyota) or all the planes on earth is a stretch.

haha. you spoke too soon. i completely disagree that the free market should handle it.

I think that it could be left up to the state to deal with healthcare, but needs to be federally regulated, so states that decide to do nothing should be penalized. I can go with that.
I'll bet you do, but it does make me feel warm and fuzzy knowing that the majority of Americans disagree with you.

And the Red states that let the Fed take the exchanges also did everything they could to make it hard for the Feds to run an exchange in their state.

If the states didn't have their own exchange, how in they hell did the federal government handle their exchanges?

Dum de dum dum dum
part of the law is that all the states have to set up an exchange. if the states refuse to do it, it becomes the duty of the fed gov to do so.

so almost ALL of the red states decided to let the fed gov do it, instead of doing it on a state level.

you are confused and most likely suffering from some sort of mental disorder.

those red states didn't have exchanges to handle.
that was their decision though.

they had the choice to set up their own exchanges on their own state level and refused.

thus, by law, the fed gov came in and did it for them. they knew this and chose this option.

you are very, very slow.

Is it my fault you can't word a sentence correctly?

Because Obamacare is, was, and continues to be a complete failure.
if you had judged romneycare a failure by its initial rollout, your face would have lots of egg on it by now.

but don't let me and my silly tales of empirical evidence and historical facts discourage you from making an ass out of yourself.

The who is the "their" you are referring to?
here, let me rephrase for you to satisfy your question.

why did all the red states decide to let the federal government handle the exchanges for the red states?

this means the same thing as:

why did all the red states decide to let the federal government handle their exchanges?
