Lol indica?

Hey guys :)
I bought some "100% medical indica" seeds and i have a fairly large plant now but i don't think its 100% indica...
here are some pictures, shes really stretchy and has large, thin leaves and the leaves have double serrades on them, it looks pretty cool!
But my question was, could this be 100% indica? She vegged under 6x26watt cfl bulbs of mostly blue bulbs and a couple red ones, not litterally blue and red, 2700 and 6500 or whatever the kelvins are lol, i forget atm.
i added two more 26watt red bulbs about a week ago, i needed the adapters and cords to use them and only got them a week ago. Now she is under my led light, 250watts with 3x40watt warm/red cfl bulbs and 2x26watt cfls, im going to flip her tonight because i have a feeling she is going to stretch like crazy and i dont have the room..
she seems kind of sativa like and also her side branches are growing weird.. Like one node is way taller than the other node on the opposite side. I will grab a picture.
i just switched from chem to organic soil.
im using promix with subcools super soil on the bottom 1/4 of the pot and have been giving her plain water and the occasional worm casting tea and i have some alfalfa, kelp, epsom salt, wormcasting tea with molassas brewing, it has a very nice foam on the top now so im going to use it today :D
this organics stuff is way better than that bottled shit, i love this plant stuff even more now and i didnt think that was possible!
its simple.
i havent had any problems with this plant at all this whole run except for a broken branch.
Is it weird that this "indica" is so thin and stretchy?

Hey there, in my opinion judging by the size and thickness of the leaves i'd definitely say at least indica dominant.
I've had many indicas that stretch and have had to lst or supercrop so my neighbours cant see em over the fence.
I used to think all indicas are short and stout but not so much anymore.

Bottom line: you gotta be happy with her as she's looking great
Dr. Jekyll

It does have slender leaves, and I wouldn't argue with redeyefrog about it being Indica dom, but I doubt it is 100%

Very nice healthy looking plants. Were these seeds plants or clones? If seed do they all appear to be the same pheno? Do you
have a testing facility close? After harvest I would be curious what the CBD's % the plant is.

Sorry re-read your post and they were seed plants. Definitely indica dominant. I had a Canalope Kush last season for outdoor.

She is supposed to be a sativa dominant plant. Great grower and produced 1.29 pounds dry, but she looked indica
dominant. Here is a pic of her clone.

Your plant looks nice and healthy. Good job.

There is an extreme amount of BS as far as breeding (indica/sativa etc.) as far as I am concerned.

Just keep them nice and healthy looking like they are now.

Okay that put my confusion to rest. I agree that she isnt 100% indica, pretty shitty that you cant trust breeders. Im going to save up for tga seeds lol, i heard they are good.
This is only one plant from seed, shes "feminized afgani seeds" the description says 100% indica.
i havent heard of any labs in my area to test the percentages of the cannaboids.
I wouldnt test anyway because i know im not reaching the plants fullest potential with my setup.
im just trying to learn the basics so i will be grand master when i have the money to have a real setup.
My last two plants were the same plant, first was seed then the next was a clone of her and her calyx to leaf ratio was not very good, more leaf than calyx, plenty frosty but i cant help but think the frost would have been better with more bud. Am i right?
thanks for the complements :) im very happy with her, she is a beautiful green and is always happy and standing at attention, its just the node spacing is terrible, like a few inches between each node.
Im not expecting a huge yield with her.
maybe just an off pheno?
im still excited as heck to flower her :D maybe her nodes will be closer now that she is under her led light.

thanks guys :)

I am growing a plant very similar looking. See that little secondary serration on the edge of the leaf? My strain is called white queen and indica dominant genetics. It does grow pain in the ass lanky but seems to be maturing fairly quick compared to some of my Sativa dom's.

I topped them mostly and trained them down to a 3 gallon plant warrior pot. Vigorous growers that went into an N deficiency because they grew so fast. I have one that is bout five feet tall and climbing. The limbs stay supple and respond well to LST.

I will try and put some pics in a few. I have some about midflower.

Pics are always welcome! And yeah i would imagine that 99% of strains are mixed now.
Damn shame!! I want to get a 100% pure indica and sativa and then have a few mixes around but i dont think that will happen any time soon!
The plants are wonderful no matter what strain in my opinion :)
i think everyone should switch to organics, its easier, you can reuse your soil, you have micro buddies feeding your plants for you and if your into nature then this is deff for you. you get to use other plants as food and you get to make your own soil and teas.
in my opinion its wayyyyy easier than chemicals. Theres no ph, no ppm, no ewc. If you do it properly you can just add water and still get good results!
i have been recruited haha
thanks guys for saying shes perdy :) i love her!

props for going organic. i think its the best way to grow. the leaves look indica to me. sativa is really easy to tell. the stretchiness isn't genetic. it sometimes from light or heat. when you flip the plants there's less light and the plants will stretch for light that isn't there. that's normal. anyway i enjoy your posts and your pix. you do nice work:)

:) thanks danny, i always look forward to your imput! Just wait until i have the space and cash for better lights! Im actually going to school for horticulture and i look forward to expanding/learning new skills and putting my skills to use.
organics is best!! I will be learning organics in class too so thats a 2x bonus!

and thank you cpappa! I have to think shes so healthy because of all the little bugs in my soil :p shes also pretty happy, reaching for the lights!

Sativa-dominant. Look at the largest fan leaves. The leaves are so skinny they don't overlap even at their widest part. If it was more indica the fans would look be shorter and wider. Give me a break boys, I do this for a living, eh? BigSteve.

Lol that is exactly what i was thinking!

I have another question guys!!

So i put her into flower 2 days ago and also put her under the led and warm cfl's but now her petioles? Are turning pink/purple. I has pic. Is this due to the led or is she needing something?

thanks!
