What is the best place to grow plants (in general) anywhere? I know California is good for legal pot grows, but i mean more like in terms of weather and environment. I used to live in Oregon, and the rain and fertile soil makes for awesome gardens. But calling it the best is debatable, where is THE BEST? (in your opinion)

on a southern facing slope, with plenty of precipitation and good topsoil. as long as your in the temperate zone, you cant go wrong.

The dry half of the evergreen state(WA)
The dry half? lol, i might actually half to agree with you on that.

How about subtropical (like FL)? Longer veg cycles mean bigger plants, and i love sativas. Can you grow good ones in northern USA or Canada?

Its real humid there and they are strict on growing.
Those reasons are exactly why i want to move, that and the possibility that my beaches are going to be oil slicks.
I dont think i would want to move to Cali cuz they got too much heat (busts happen every day) but OR (my home state) or WA would be the dream. Anyone from there?

yea u can... but it takes a little preperation. like starting them indoors around march/april, that way by june when your sure theres no frost, they've already veg'd for 2 months, giving you the head start you need to make up for the weaker sun @ northern lattitudes.

as far as fl, anyplace that has at least 12 hours of light per day during the flowering season, and quick access to water... access to water, thats very important in ANY outdoor op. nothing like hiking water in @ 1 am to piss off the old lady.

I saw a nice outdoor setup that got busted by a helicopter on a national geographic documentary called Marijuana Inc. It had a simple hillside grow with a deep hole in the ground covered in plastic as the water source. Its sad to know that the Government is spending so much money persecuting growers...

yeah, they gotta find a use for all that cold war imaging tech somehow. why not the war on drugs? its already a failure.

If a helicopter flew over my house, would the thermal pick up the heat signature of my ass? Cuz theyre gonna see the moon
