yah, looks like one of those motion detection camera's that hunters use to scout out spots to set up tree stands and the like.. would suck to get caught on it carrying in loads of dirt and seedlings and what not, lol...
i'd be looking for a new spot for sure..

that is one hell of a camera though. i would pick another set of woods all together now that you know those woods are hunted. good luck.

I know several hardcore deer hunter who scout possible hunting areas year round with these cameras.I use the same type cameras also for scouting in the fall but remove mine after the hunting season.I would bet on it being a hunter...But i would look elsewhere just in case..

Trash that piece of shit, lol. I'm just kidding about that, don't damage their property. In all seriousness though, I'd advise using google earth to help find the new spots. Good luck!

In Cali you can hunt pigs 365 days a year, might be pig hunters. Do they have a Spring turkey season?

I saw 2 guys all camo'ed with ATV's on a trailer heading up into the hills last weekend, I figured it was opening of Spring turkey season, or they were pig hunters.

Good luck bro, time to move.

Take a close look at the gear. It has a huge battery pack, looks like theres an antenna and is strapped down with wire. Sportsmans gear is less expensive and they have to check it every few days.
I would not worry about planting nearby

I think I'm just gonna leave that spot alone. I think it's prob a dear hunters as it was right up next to a dear trail although it could be turkey hunter, I did see a pair of turkeys the same day I found the damn thing

yea def leave it alone i use the same setup for scouting my deer.. the antenna on the camera allows the pictures to be sent to your computer so u dont have to go visit every couple days....makes it handy when ur hunting location is far away.

I know this for a fact. Few locals got busted this way last year.

and i dont know about you , but the older folks around here are crabby mother fuckers ...im sure if they caught someone on their deer cams planting some crops on their huntin land they would run right to the 5-0....cock suckers.
