Hi All,

Not long ago my plants were in wee 12 and still no sign of being ready. So i posted something on this site and got some advice, I took on the advice from an experienced grower that I should stop feeding flowering nutes and just start flushing.

Since I did that, the buds haven't grown at all, instead im getting SHITLOADS of single blade leaves that barley look like cannabis leaves...

I know for a fact this plant is a pure sativa so of course its gonna take a while, but at week 14 i was expecting more bud than leaf...

This guy gave me the worst advice i ever got online!!! since last week i've started feeding again.

the question is, does anyone know what the hell these 1 blade leaves are? they arent fan leaves caues the plant has very few of them lef tand they look normal. these one bladers are coming out of the flowers/buds....

Never had this happen to me. There have been threads about it though. From what I've read the majority of them are from photoperiod fluctuations. Just keep flowering em with 12/12. I don't think there's much anything else you can do.

my plants never fluctuated in light. its been 12/12 for 14 weeks now, no light leaks either.

the only way i can explain this is listening to that IDIOT who apparently has 20 years experience in growing, to stop feeding it flower nutes...

LOL so you basically flushed the plant too early? Forcing it to revert to minimal growth because it has no nutrients. Started producing single bladed leaves because they require the least energy to produce. Plant stress causes odd things. If it was a lack of nutrients you would most likley see deficiencies occur tho. So idk gl man.

14 weeks....those buds should be large
i know...i dont get it. i've never grown sativa and probably never will do again. its absolute shite to grow and its not worth the end result no matter how good a sativa is..

ill also never listen to an idiot who says to stop feeding even tho im feeding organic nutes. i've always fed my indicas till the last week and they loved it and the taste was amazing...im paying the price now..

any more opinions on what i should do next would be very appreciated...

root bound means that the roots have overtakin the container and have no where to grow its a possibility. Another possibility is that this sativa strain takes longer than 14 weeks of flowering. Some plants might never finish flowering indoors. I dont think you got bad advice at all after 12 weeks you would expect to bee ready to flush and harvest. What strain is this .....Im wondering why the buds werent large by 12 weeks maybe it wasnt growing in optimal conditions or maybe its a low yeilding plant. Anyways after this long i would probably just continue flushing and harvest within 2 weeks because even tha weed will be ready in 14-16 weeks. nuthin worse than improperly flushed buds.

Looks normal to me, just skimpy buds. Plants usually grow single blade leaves during flower, but you should have much fatter buds dude. what kind of light are you using again?

im using one 600w hps, and one 250 envirolite...

ive been growing for a number of years and have never seen such a low yield, its driving my brain mad!!! lol...

the worst thing about this plant is that i've made cuttings out of it, and its little babies (5weeks behind) are doing great! and the buds are massive compared to that one... i dont get what went wrong with it...

the temps are fine, its got a good big fan blowing in there... the roots havent escaped anywhere.... the only other explanation could be stress maybe? it grew so god damn big (2meter) in a 1.60 height area, that i had to bend it down like hell.... maybe thats the reason?
