Little muddy looking spheres clinging to the DWC bucket?

This morning I noticed that all 4 of my DWC buckets have small muddy/rusty looking bubbles attached to the inside of the bucket. At first I was worried they were some type of bug egg, but after destroying a couple of them they really just seem to be bubbles that accumulated nutrients or whatnot (they leave rust colored stains on my skin when I pop them.) I thought it best I make a thread here with a picture though just to put my mind at ease, as I have never seen this before in my bucket or on others’ journals. I’m using a very low (90 PPM) nutrient solution of GH micro and FF tiger bloom, the buckets are completely light proof, and I’m on day 7 of the grow. Thank you very much for reading this!

whats your res temp? also i had ff nutes, and they gave me a problem too. now i use batonicare.

clean out your buckets and add some h202 to your nutes and water. 1 tbs per gal. keep your res temps happy, and you should be ok......keep us posted...Loola

I don't have a thermometer to test the res temps, but I will be buying one soon. Before I "treat" the problem, do you have any idea what the problem may be, if it is indeed a problem? You don't think it is algae or anything do you?

*edit* is there any other info I can provide to help? I haven't bothered checking my PH this morning since it doesn't seem to be related to this.

you stated they were just bubbles correct? show me a pic of your roots!

it is probably undissolved solids from the nutes you are using, maybe cut back a bit.

Here's a shot I just uploaded of my roots coming in. It's hard to tell by the picture but they are indeed white and healthy looking. All my plants seem to be acting just fine, but then again that doesn't mean that nothing is the matter. I touched the water in the bucket also and it was "cool to the touch" although that is about as precise as I can give until I buy another thermometer.

how much oxygen u got going in there ? u should have alot of movement from your stones so i cant imagine why the salt would stick to the sides like that ... weird.
