Little Brown spots on my plants

Hey all!

Ok so I noticed that just about a week or two before I started fertilizing my plants (pre veg stage) that little brown spots started to appear on some of my leafs. I have a book (Medical Marijuana Horticulture) or something like that, and the only thing I found in the book was that of spider mites.

I'm still pretty new to this and wanted to know if it could be anything else.

My set up is really basic. I have a humidifier, a fan, mylar all over the place and a compact flourescent that is 140 watts with the hammered reflective shield.

So any thoughts on what else it could be???

And could you please suggest a good organic overall grow fertilizer?

sounds like a magnesium deficiency, get some cal mag and u should be good (only use a SMALL amount)

for organic nutrients there is a shit load of stuff to get. go to the hydro store and ask what is good for beginners. try a 1 part system as it will be easiest.

OK so my lowest leaves on the plant started with little brown spots. I added a small amount of an organic Cal+MG by general organics..and the leaves now have curled up and have large grey spots.

My instrincts are telling me that I have root issues either from overwatering or from god knows what. The containters ar 3 gallon and a lieter or small one as well. The big plant is about 2and a half months old and the sall one is roughly a month and a half to two months old.

Picture one is the spots, and picture 2 is what happened after the cal+mag was added.

Can you guys please take a look at my pics and help me to save my plants?
