Lithonia MS5HB 6-lamp T5HO 8' fixtures with 6 5400 bulbs

I have found qty 60 Lithonia MS5HB 6-lamp T5HO 8' fixtures with 6500 bulbs brand new for $125 per fixture in my town on Craigslist. I am building a new grow room and will these be good enough for clones and veg? Thinking about putting one for the clones and 2 for vegging.

Building a new room and my clone room is 4x4x10 foot tall, my veg area is 4x4x10 foot tall, and my flower room is 4x4x10 foot tall.

Heck for that price I could buy 6 of these 8 foot fixtures and do the whole room!!

24 views and nobody can say if 18 T5 Ho bulbs are good enough?

how many clones are you planning on doing? Also, how many vegging plants at max capacity?
and to let you know, florescent bulbs are good for vegging and clones, but not so much for flowering. whe they are flowering they get bigger and the light can't spread out to the plants enough

and, how are you planning on fitting a 8' bulb in two 4'x4' rooms?

Ya the t5's are pretty nice bulbs. They will do you just fine for veg and cloning.

The entire room is 14x14x10 and I am splitting it in 3 sections.

I am only going to have 12 clones, 4-6 veg, and 4-6 flower. Don't need more since it is for personnel use only.
