I contacted Dan in Ca and asked if I could repost this in the Wa forum. He responded "what ever we can do to keep people safe" Dan I could not have said it better so I will not make any changes. Lets see where this goes. Thanks Dan you are the man!

This thread is for the expressed purpose of warning the community of those dispensaries who steal from growers. This is not for dispensaries who you feel charge to much or have inferior products. This is only to warn about thievery.

Also acceptable here would be dispensaries who've owed you a lot of money and didn't pay you in the agreed upon amount of time and instead only gave you a small amount (less than 10%) of what they owe you to shut you up. I know this is a common trick a lot of ponzi scheming dispensaries use. But please, be reasonable. Being a week late on an agreed upon payment is not the same as stealing. But if for example they've owed you $3k and said they'd pay you in 3 weeks, and it's been 2+ months and all you've gotten from them is $200, then yes, that's a ponzi scheme and everyone should be warned.

Please list as much relevant info as you can about the club in question.

I have a little garden and from time to time I will use craigslist.org search "MMJ". I meet a lot of good and nice people here, but I have come across some ripoffs here is how you can avoid them.

1- if they sound like a gangster they probly are. Just wait for the next call and alwaws talk live on the phone, I can read a person in just a few words and they can read me.

2- I always meet in a public place parking lot Fred Meyer, Costco, Park & Ride. Describe your car and know theres park next to them this is safe. NEVER NEVER let somebody walk up to you in a parking lot with out seeing what they are driveing! They will grab and dash and there is nothing you can do.

3- Becarefull of any body that wants a QP, HP or an LB. Most thieves want a big pay load. Get to know them with a 1/2- oz first.

4- For $9.00 you can get a dozen canning jars at any market, use them it makes your product look more profeshional, it helps the curring process and if some punk is going to "grab & dash" well he can't hold more than 2 jars.

If you are tired of the high prices of your local $300.00 oz dispencery go to craigslist.org search MMJ look for the town and pay close attension to the pictures. Good growers love to show off there buds, if the picture looks like crap that's what you are going to get. GOOD MEDS should be around $200 an OZ $700 a QP anything less is crap, don't waste your time or money.

5- A true grower wil post his phone # because he knows we are legal and you can call anytime. It's not easy to grow good Meds it's a lot of work cloning, transplanting, nutes, watering, electricty, trimming and drying. You screw up 1 step and you lost your crop. I forgot to mention mites.
Save yourself $80.00 - $100.00 and use
www.craigslist.org/mmj and you will find good deals, right now there are 500 postings there for MMJ

WOW great info i was just thinking about doing a mmj search for clones because i NEED connoisseur strains to replace my dead seeds! But iv'e noticed a lot of collectives in the peirce county area have spider mites on their clones i can always spot them from a foot away its sad how some dont pay attention to those little details.

mites are everywhere you have to stay on top of them dip your plants spray them they are a pain in the ass but you can keep them under controle

I saw this thread in MMJ California and there was a huge responce to vendors getting ripped off. I have never sold to a dispensery for fear that they would low ball me or make me consign. This thread has been up for 2 weeks and not 1 complaint.
There is a dispencery on CL that will pay 10.00 a gram, I think I will check them out.

i agree with almost every word of that, except NEVER EVER MEET AT A PARK AND RIDE IF BY SOME OFF CHANCE IT IS THE FUZZ OR WHAT EVER THERE ARE CAMERAS EVERY WHERE FROM EVERY ANGLE. not good in court

Another good place to contact growers directly is through NWGT (Northwest Green Thumb) - they verify that you are a patient before you're allowed in & even if you only have $100 to spend, you can find a good deal in many areas of WA state.

Awesome place & I feel a lot better about it than CL :)
(just my thing lol)

Park n rides that I have seen have no cameras and who cares! we are legal

I found this on CL and I got stuck with a bunch of bad $20's about a year ago

Counterfeit Money - Beware - MMJ Community - $100 (Tacoma Area)

Big scam artist using fake $100 dollar bills to donate for medical marijuana. Bills look very sophisticated but are fake. The guy goes by the name Travis Massie and he is from Tacoma. He uses a 707 area code when calling. Avoid this guy and use caution when taking $100 dollar bills from anyone. These could be coming from multiple sources in the Pacific Northwest

If you are legal meet at a park and ride or a costco. You dont have to worry about the guy coming into your car as much as his homie that is coming up to your drivers side window with a .32 caliber handgun
