Liquid Lady Bug Reipe

A while ago I bought some liquid lady bug at the local hydro shop and I think it works great to kill mites and I believe that it strengthens the plant and can actually help prevent PM. I have not had a single outbreak of pm since ive been using it . It's expensive for how much I use so I decided to crunch the numbers and percentages of ingridients and I now make my own. I make about 2 gallons of ready to use spray for around 10 bucks give or take a few bucks. I wanted to know if anyone would like the recipe I came upwith to try it themselves.? Keep in mind its only the ingridients found in the manufactured product as I have not (added) anything extra. This is a natural spray that can be used with the lights on... If I get more than a handfull of people that want it I will post it. I hate typing!!

So, are you saying your recipe is exactly like the final Liquid Ladybug product?......... I buy the gallon concentrate, and dilute it to save money. But I like it and use it whether or not I need it, just for safety's sake. Please post away......

Thats exactly what im saying. For the most part the polysorbate aids in the dilution of the oils and allows them to suspend in water. This ratio needed a little tweaking to get it right.

Liquid ladybug recipe. 2 gallons of water. .40%peppermint oil or 1 liquid oz ... geraniol (geranium oil) .30% or 3/4 of a liquid oz... citric acid .10% or 1/4oz dry weight ... glycerine .10% or 1/4 liquid oz... vitamin e .10% or 1/4 of a liquid oz ... and polysorbate 20. Mix all the oils with the polysorbate 20 1st. It wont suspend properly in water if you dont. There is no measurement for the poly sorbate because you add it to" taste" so to speak. About 1/2 oz polysorbate to mix all the oils in. Add all the ingridients to the water and shake to mix very well. Keep adding the polysorbate a little at a time untill the mix becomes mostly clear .... Keep in mind that since the finished product is very fresh and not mass produced in a factory that it will want to still seperate but very, very little. Simply agitate or shake for like 2 seconds and your good to go. If it doesnt work for you and you hate it ...im sorry in advance. ? It works for me and im just trying to aid our fight in growing the best homegrown ya dig !

Thanks for the post Jimmy I am looking to use your posted recipe soon as I am finding that buying it is costing me a LOT of cash! Two questions I have for you about your recipe...first how much of the polysorbate 20 do you use? Also..WHERE are you getting your items from? I went to the local Sprouts today and found all but 2 of the ingredients and after pricing them out for 2 gallons of LL I'd be spending MORE on making it myself rather than buying the concentrate! lol I am looking around at different web sites but only seem to find things in 1oz sizes and kinda pricey?
Any help is truly appreciated mon :)

all of the essential oils, glycerin and the citric acid come from super supplements. Use as much polysorbate 20 as needed to blend all the oils together. There is no set amount... Bramble berry soap/candle making supply on line is where I believe the polysobate came from.Let me know if you have any other questions. Jimmy..
