Liking this dwc thing, gonna run Yo Mama this time.

Well I finished my first dwc grow about 2 months ago and now I think I have changed forever. My first real try and I get almost 8 zips. I thought the herb was supposed to taste like dro but not at all, most thought it was my best blue dream yet. Needles to say I am sold and have a couple more buckets going.

One of em happens to be a cut from a afgooey leaning yo mama I took in flower. I was pissed because I accidentally seeded this bitch and all the other plants in my tent so I decided to give her another go.

Here is the clone after a haircut.

I plan on letting her get about 14 inches then flowering. The stretch in soil was very managable so I should be good on that number.
Oh and for those who care I am running botanicare line, in a 5 gal bucket with 6" netpot lid. Under a 400w mh right now, ppms are about 850, ph 6.1.

Thanks y'all, I just flipped her over to flower tonight. I noticed she was looking a little off so I changed the Res and just decided to put it in the other tent.
Ph was 5.8 and ppm were at 1000.

Thanks man, the mom got a decent size in soil and pretty frosty, so the dwc should get interesting.

Well its about 5 days later and thought I would go ahead and give a pic of the progress so far. She is still in here first week of flower, the crazy growth has just seem to have begun.


Ph=5.9, ppm=1250 starting ppm is around 250

While I was at it though I would keep ya a little update don my other hydro plants atm

Well just awake already and thought I would show a pic of my flower tent. Just cleaned her out and also disconnected hoods and took out glass to see how temps are, thinking about going bare bulb.

I was just messing with my phone and discovered I could upload my pics. So I found these two pics of my first dwc harvest.

Well I keep getting farther and farther into this hydro world. Just fired up the botanicare Aero cloner I got a few months back. Seemed too easy man, I am starting to think about ditching the dirt.

I dig the cloner. Only one I have is a little Botanicare one with the 10 holes in the lid and such. Would sit way lower in my Veg box too...hmm. Nywayz, the clones look awesome so far man. You just cut em?

Yeah they were just cut in that pic but me they look better now then when first cut. There was no wilting at all, just ph'ed tap water and that's it. This is just kinda a test run plan on filling it with og and platinum bubba soon.

I grow in soil rite now but I was lookin into getting a dwc bucket to try it out for one of my moms or just a clone to flower thing - it would be ok for me because I stay at home with the daughter most of the day neways so maintenance wouldn't be a problem for me but I don't know much about hydro I have been looking at dwc threads on this site but do you got ne good tips for if I get a dwc bucket

Thanks for coming by Pedro, I am still kinda new to hydro myself but the whole experience has been great. Tips I would give is don't overthink it hit your numbers and watch the buds swell.

Ya i've read a few threads about dwc and aero not to interested in the outher kinds of hydro myself

But in my honest opinion people always over think the hydro it is probley a lot easier than everyone makes it out to be

tents are realy cool i just got mine a few weeks ago and its great it stayesaround 70/78the max temps

Thanks for strolling through Captain and Pedro, yeah I have built two grow areas prior to owning tents and tents are the way I will go from now on. I mean I don't need anything bigger than 10x10 so the tents work perfect for me. Just the ease of setup and if you need to take down is worth it.

Well gave my girl a hair cut last night, wasn't stretching like I though she would. So I pulled out the light blockers


I got roots starting to show on my aero cloner already, that would make 3 days.


Also my dwc Blue Dream is starting to get to monster status
