Lights

I am just starting out growing. I was only going to attempt one plant for my first grow. I also was going to use CFL lights. I was wondering what size CFL light should I use do I need multiple ones or will just one light work for one plant.

I started out using cfl's and they are a nightmare.. you need to place them all around your plant within 2-3 inches. You need to move them all the time. And by the time you have brought them and all of the clips ect to power them it would have been simpler and cheaper to buy a 300w led light that is less of a fire hazard and creates better buds in the end... if you want to stick with cfl's you will need as many as humanly possible, only grow autoflowers and buy bulbs that are 2700k (red light) bulbs, try to throw a few 6400k (blue light) bulbs in to encourage growth.. when placing a bulb close to a bud site never trim leaves! Tuck them behind the nearest branch to avoid stress.. and research some more so you know the basics about your medium ect.
