can you convert those numbers to inches for me? (yeah, i could just google it myself, lol, but im feeling lazy today)i'd be happy to share my thoughts on it.

5'x5' area would be 25sqft of grow area...so calculating out 4000-6000lumens per square foot you'll need about 100,000-150,000 lumens for best case scenario growing...

so 1000watt HPS gives you about 140,000 lumenish...so if you want to really cover your area, and have the money, and have the ventilation/etc, go 1000watts...if you don't plan on completely filling that 5x5 space with plant matter then you can probably go with a 600watt hps, or go dual bulb'ed and get HPS and MH lamps :)
