Lights?

So I am not new to the growing game, but I have been out of it for a while and i know lights have come a long way so I am a noob when it comes to lights? wondering if HPS are still the best lights for Flowering and Mph for veg? Are the LEDS any good? sorry i tryed seachching through the fourms and just got lost in all the stuff , thanks for your time

For veg its still all about metal halide
For flowering it seems best to use both metal halide and high pressure sodium (metal halide will encourage sexy thc filled rock hard buds) (HPS increases total yield) this can be done at any ratio of your choosing higher % halide the better quality you will get with less yield for hps the other way around

Costs more up front but the best flouros are T5 HO tubes.

Yes.
LEDs have a long way to go yet. They are expensive too.

im sorry i dont understand wut u are implying

How many plants u plan on growing?Mh are great for veg,Hps for flowering but i've seen some nice lookin buds done with cfl's.

I think he meant cfl's cost a hell of alot less to operate.

o ok i wuz misunderstanding him. i thought he ment uwont get nothing wiht cfls
