Lights turning off 600 watt phantom ballast please help

today and yesterday I go to check up on things and my lights are off....got em to stay on yesterday but now it goes through a startup for a couple of minutes then turns off....run and 100% lights are blinking on and off....just tried starting lights without a timer to rule that out and they still turned off after a couple minutes.....phantom 600 w Dimmable ballast

Please help lights been off for almost 3 hours right now...

Sounds to me like your ballast has seen better days. If you do not have a back up you should probably get on amazon and order with expedited shipping.

Just tried again....lights warmed up for 1 minute 50 seconds....then crapped out

Yeah, probably the ballast- mine crapped out last year.

Mine were out for about 24 hours before I could get another ballast, everything was fine! You'll be just fine.

New ballast....same problem tonight.

Turns out it was the bulb....popped in a bulb from 5 years ago and look at that....staying on no problem....

My extrasun bulb lasted a whopping 2 months...that's why I never would of figured it was the bulb.....hortilux is the only way I guess

If it's pretty old you may want to check and see if the ballast is clogged with dust. Could be fine but overheating in the ballast.
