lights and flowering schedule

Firstly, my name is completely wrong. I called my college and declined my acceptance into nursing school. I am instead pursuing a degree in culinary arts with dreams of opening my own restaurant. Especially since culinary schools don't randomly UA you. I imagine it'll be something like this... "Okay class, for tomorrow's assignment, come up with a recipe involving chicken breast and bacon." Me: "What to cook... *puff puff* Okay. I got it!"

I run it from 6p-6a, since I go to work at 6am and off at 2 pm. Here's my questions

Does less light every now and then effect the flowering? I pull it out a couple of times a week and water in my tub just for easy cleanup.

Also, my fan shuts off when my light is off. Is that a problem? It kind of smells inside the tent itself, but my room never has an odor. I only have 2 plants in it, and it's too late to start a new one. I'm moving in june, as soon as my lease is up.

Never turn fans off. Keep air flowing at all times. Other than that, not sure what the point of this thread is.

IMHO, pulling for a while from lights to do maintenance is fine, as for fans, I like to leave ALL my fans running 24/7, air movement , heat, humidity....

Culinary school teaches technique and style usually of French tradition. if you are interested in opening a restaurant business school would probably be best. the profit margins in restaurants are extremely small. the last the statistic I seen was 77 percent of restaurants fail in their first year, you do not take home a paycheck for the first 5 years and usually work 80 hours a week. I've spent my entire career in the culinary field and I can tell you that is a field that you work because you love not because you want to retire or be rich

I run fans 24/7, 2 exhaust and 1 flowing into my room. I also have a fresh air vent from the outside. The 1 flowing in is to use my natural c02 from the occupants in my house and also to help control humidity and temps, i use 2 exhaust to lower pressure in the room which im told helps lower temps. I live in a high heat area so temps can get high really fast up to 120 in the summer throw lights in and it gets crazy. As for your lights 12 on 12 off is normal and yas its ok to pull them your plants for cleaning but I would only do it during lights on. good luck.

pulling your plants out for maintenance and waterings is no big deal. they'll be fine.

as far as your fans go it depends. if you have a fan that is on a closed loop and just extracts the air from your hood then you should turn it off with your lights. if you have an exhaust fan for the tent then it's better to just let it run all the time. if you don't have a heat problem in your tent when the lights are off then you don't need to run the exhaust fan either. a few small clip fans will be more than enough air movement.
