Even if it is cloudy there still is light that is coming in to the plants. If they are already in the ground there is not a whole lot you can do. I think they will be fine as long as they dont look like they are dying. The only option you have if they are not doing well is either digging them up and moving them to a better location, or bringing them inside under lights until weather improves, or just wait to put them out sometime later in May.

you should be okay...id suggest if it rains put a cover over your plant(s)...since there only 6 inches tall..too much water and they could start to droop..i usually do this..but put it on a angle so the water runs off and you still get light..take it down on good days...too soon to use nutes..water evry 2 days or so and you should be fine...cant do much if there in the ground..good luck

how important is light for the first 3 weeks? because mine are in my room, sitting near a window but i cant put them too close or they will be found by my parents....
where they are right now they are getting light, but its not very direct. they are 3 days old and seem to be growing at a fairly average rate... maby a bit behind.

In the next three days they will fall over and die if you don't put them under proper lighting or outside.
