Lighting???

I have been in flowering for 30 days roughly, i have 5 nice females but i think i have gone as far as i can with CFLS,
i just ordered 150 hps vented system for my 3 x 3 tray, will that 150 be enough for 3 x 3 area or will i need to keep one or 2 of the cfls to supplement?????

Dude, I personally would use the the 150 for the tops and A L L you cfls for side lighting....

you will need more light for a 3x3....keep a few of those cfls around the perimiter...good job on stepping up your game with the hps...

bout how far off tops should i keep the 150 hps?

I would keep it about 7-10 inches you said it was aircooled, so you might be able to get alot closer...

update, thanks for the advice, the hps really penetrates deeper, the colas are getting really dense and thick and the cfls around the outside seem to be filling inthe rest of the plant nice, FUNNY side note, since i started my " project" i have become very energy efficient everywhere else in the house, and my bill actually did not increase at all with a veg and flower tray going 12/12 and 18-6 everyday!! so far its been a good grow

i would use both cfl's.won't hurt one bit. good luck
